If you watched ep 11, you will see Reba’s good acting skills, where she changes from two personality quickly.😍
she actually looks insane in that, the fake simu was just so uncomfortable too watch, she looks haunted just like what would u expect on ghost who's pretending to be someone
letting her experience sense of touch first is too cheeky lmaooooo look at them all touchy and sweet, physical touch is a quick way to fall in love. damn duan xu this man is too greedy and knows what he's doing, went straight for the neck 😭
Not bad but not super amazing either. I don't know why Xianxia/fantasy drama need to go with this washed out flat…
Idk but i feel their just going for that eerie vibes. It’s winter and war times, it’s not like pursuit of jade whwre it was wintwr but it had this warm sunny lighting with it
Im not even glazing yall, this drama is really good so far! You can really feel the eerie vibes theyre going for especially since he simu is the spirit lord. Idk why ppl question her acting cute when shes supposed to be cringe that way especially her crying. Shes supposes to act like shes acting if u get it, whats not clicking yall? Her entrance ugh she’s so witchy with that spirit lamp. The leads are just serving looks and duan xu is just mysterious, u cant wait for them to reveal it one by one.
They did so much with so little money. This makes me proud of them, but now I'm so angry about all the big budget…
The way Jinjin keeps on complaining how they were so poor jokingly but i can feel that they loved the series so much they wish they had better resources to do more for the series. Nonetheless they did justice to their roles 😞❤️
Xiao Shuhe was really something, he never compromised one. I never thought one can love but also hate so much. Used love as a weapon to make up for the grievances he had for his brother and kingdom. Making Zi'ang witness his death the day after the wedding? He's even more cruel. The ending was hauntingly beautiful.
I rewatched some of the trailers and i realized Zi'ang usurped his father's throne, just like what Shuqian did. After all, Jibei's ruler still had long years to live before actually needing to pass the throne. His death is the testament and start of Zi'ang's desperation, sparing no time just to make Shuhe come back to his side.
Who would've thought those delicate hands he cared for, will one day pierce him with the very dagger meant to protect.
Absolute cinema, chef's kiss. When you say romance in the middle of messy politics?? THIS WHAT YOU WANT TO BE SERVED.
"You don't want to be a prince, nor do I want to be an heir to the throne. Can you feel it? Every beat here belong to you."
Ugh these lines by Duan Zi'ang just screams his pleas and desperation. Their kingdoms and identity bound their so-called fate and they both know it. Shuhe, who has willingly accepted to do so, pushed him away under the pressure of this responsibility.
One of my first thoughts as to why Shuhe did all of that were 'was it because he killed his brother whom he cared for so much despite his cruelty?' 'was it because he lied to him?'. But no, i bet those alone weren't enough for love to turn into hate. It was because Shuhe was a prince too kind to abandon his people, even if it meant severing the bond that tethered his heart.
He can't leave, because a country without a ruler will be its downfall. Like a house of cards, everything was meant to crumble on that cold night. Even if Duan Zi'ang saves him from the cruel blade of his own brother, doing so will only pass the weight of the crown onto Shuhe.
Zi’ang loved that kind heart, but he would rather become cruel if cruelty meant keeping it safe. Where Shuhe saw duty as love, Zi’ang saw love as duty.
Ep 7 & 8 Really a masterpiece - the story is engaging, the performance of all the cast is sound. Of course…
It's not just a bl in a different genre, they sold us a real political one. It's honestly so intriguing this couldve been a real good something in mainstream when compared to other political dramas. Today's ep 8 was so gut wretching it actually reminded me of Goodbye My Princess in a way.
I KNW IT! THEY WERE TOO SWEET, HAPPY, KISSY AND STUFFS ALL FOR THAT TO CRUMBLE AT EPISODE 8. THIS IS SO BAD FOR THE MENTAL HEALTH GUYS LMAO IM GOING INSANE
i am trying to recall if there was ever a character i hated as much as i hate Hua Yong. there might have been…
The fact that i can tolerate a toxic character because his love at the end is so sacrificial, he's willing to b anything just to be with Shaoyou when all his schemes come to a fail. I need to get checked in the head soon coz when did i become so blind🥲
Does every intimate moment lead to a baby, or will these two be the lucky ones? :)
For Gao Tu and Shen Wenlang, afaik higher compatibility means fertility sooo.. while Hua Yong being an enigma hsjakaja is just given i guess, hed make lots of babies if he wanted (sadly only one coz his man almost died lmao)
