I think she maybe present often after Li Xun is hospitalized. They officially didn't move in together until quite a while after they became official. Li Xun actuallly lived with Hou Ning...which I think will happen once HN is over his tantrum.

I actually don't think they are moving in together. More like she is helping Li Xun move in to his place. She still stays in the place her mom chose as you can see in the kiss scene in the trailers.

He is lying. If he has forgotten the past, he would be indifferent to Zhu Yun. He is anything but.

Before at the conference, he made it a point to let Gao know that Zhu Yun has nothing to do with him anymore but he isn't all powerful and he couldn't prevent Zhu Yun from joining the same company. He is maintaining any distance he can because he is here for revenge and he doesn't want Zhu Yun to be a causality.

I believe these two scenes were very important. They show both characters' motivation for things some viewers are mad about.

I am gonna give my 2 cents but keep it brief.

All I can say is that the boy is a tsundere. His words are always harsh but he isn't. For example in the very starting episodes, he gives her his sweater to cover her. He also goes through her code and points out all the errors; actually spends time in spelling her mistakes out for her. He takes part in the competition for her. The whole deal with Fang Zhijing is because of her. Li Xun did not sleep for 3 days so he could break encryption for Fang's USB so Zhu Yun would be happy. He makes her 50% shareholder in the company with no financial input from her. Everything he does on new years' eve. He waits hours for her to come. He gives the Blue Crown app he slaved over to protect her (he didn't even do that to save himself). He is also the first between the two to actually say the words "I love you" ...I could list other incidences too. I don't know why people think he doesn't show his affection to her. He does.

As for Zhu Yun...she doesn't chase him. In fact, she initially disliked the guy (even makes fun of him in that talk thing) till she sees his code for the exam. Still, she has to be convinced by the professor and personally invited by Li Xun to join the base. Tbh she is impressed by his talent (the blue crown project presentation was a pivotal point imo) and is intrigued by how confident he is in his direction. She acknowledges that she can learn greatly from him and after working with him, slowly starts to understand his personality. She does accommodate him at times but it's because she sees what he does for her and knows that his words don't match his actions.

That's how I feel about the characters at least.

Like I said, noting happens to Zhu Yun or him. It's good.

All I can say is, it's all good for the couple from here on out. I have read the novel and I followed the drama while it was shooting. They get a happy ending. Both safe and sound. Don't worry !!

It's okay. Zhu Yun is a princess after all. She has power behind her. She isn't someone you can easily target.

Both. It is a weakness for sure because when someone you love gets hurt, it hurts you and can destroy you. However, you are also your strongest when you are fighting for someone/something you love. One thing I can say without doubt, a life without love is not worth living.

They do break up. Lighter has some sad moments. It's not all happy.

Tbh these were drama changes. In the novel Li Xun and Gao Jianhong have a very harmonious relationship in the past. Li Xun doesn't look down on him and respects him for his abilities. They also work together. Drama changed that because they wanted to deepen the conflict between the two and make it more believable that he resented Li Xun enough to betray him. I prefer the novel version more tbh because it's more nuanced and Gao Jianhong's villain has more depth where his morality at backstabbing Li Xun is literally eating him alive but it still losses to him wanting to defeat Li Xun. Nothing of that sort here. Still, I think in the drama, they do try to show he respects Gao's abilities with the mountain thing and when he invites him to join L&P before the FZJ debacle.

However, I do disagree with you about Li Xun's behavior. For example, you say he doesn't care for anyone but Zhu Yun and Ren Di. That's untrue. With Li Xun, his words are curt but he shows his personality through his action. For example, Fang Shumiao was shit at coding and whatever she wrote didn't help the project but still when the project was completed, she got full credit. Why? Because no matter what, she put in effort for the project. Another one, Xu Lina. She asked Li Xun about her team's code for the competition project and he pointed out the deficiencies which helped her improve it. Again, why? She was his competition. Fu Yizhou, his friend. When they were being expelled, Fu was equally responsible and Li Xun had just lost his mother, yet he went to Zhu Yun's mom to spare Fu. Never him.

Another thing, the working alone thing. Honestly, that's because of his past but again the drama changed that because family values & censorship so you can't empathize with him. To make long story short, he lost his mother at 6 and was bullied by the rest of his "family" He was a bastard son of a married man. No one had any money for him and his brothers bullied him in school when they found out that he was good at studies. His body was constantly full of bruises from beatings. His father even once almost beat him to death....all this led to him becoming a loner; only relying on himself for everything. He was driven to succeed because of his mom and once he found computers/coding, he just single-mindedly worked towards his goal. Also, since he had never actually experienced love (even with Li Lan, she only silently took care of him from afar), he doesn't know how to express himself. Again I do wish they had kept this in the drama but China has censorship and they like family values being promoted.

I can't say that there is no love triangle but it's not like other dramas. There is someone who accompanies Zhu Yun and is interested in her romantically, but their relationship is very friendly and never turns romantic at any point. He doesn't play tricks and stuff. He even helps her help Li Xun. For Li Xun, he genuinely doesn't entertain anyone but Zhu Yun so nope.
