Does anyone know where I can watch EP8 with eng subs in the US? The site I've been watching on has the episode up, but the subs haven't been added yet. I can't seem to find a good link anywhere.
So, does anyone in the US have any tips for getting to actually watch this series? I set my vpn to Thailand, created…
Glad to know I'm not the only one experiencing this issue. This is pretty disappointing. They're making it so hard to view the series. I was looking forward to this one, but not sure what to do if Viu has a paywall up. Hopefully another streaming site picks it up eventually so international viewers can watch.
After downloading a VPN app and an internet search for Netflix Thailand, I was able to see this show in my US-installed…
Thank you for this comment! I just tried this and now I'm able to watch! Thank you!...for anyone doing this option, I recommend already being logged into your netflix account first and then turning on the VPN and then just refresh the netflix page.
For anyone contemplating, even if you've seen the Disney+ version, I recommend tuning into the youtube version too. They're only airing one episode a week, but there's differences from the version on Disney+. Specifically, the color grading has been adjusted (thank goodness), the music/scoring has also been changed, and some scenes have been cut/re-edited.
I've seen both and even though only one episode has aired, I'm already liking the youtube version better.
Honestly, production and editing issues aside, I enjoyed this series. The storyline is fun and I loved the cultural aspect of visiting the temples with the characters. The last arc with all the drama truly delivered too. And EarthMix's acting? Always on point.
Seriously how many more times will Mork realize he likes Tawan? Every episode he forgets that he'd already reached…
It's a bit repetitive, but since it seems like Tawan is the first man he's ever had feelings for, it makes sense that he doesn't know how to navigate these feelings. Although, I think with episode 7 (the chicken heart rice) and episode 8 (wanting what he's thinking to be real (i.e. kissing Tawan)), he's officially accepted that he likes Tawan.
I'm absolutely loving this series so far. It's one of the series I look forward to the next episode each week. There's something about watching Tawan and Mork's blossoming feelings for one another that just absolutely fills my heart. I like that the storyline is relatively simple as well. There's no large convoluted plot, it's just two regular people who find each other by chance and slowly fall in love. The commentary (albeit pretty light) on class differences and how respect is attributed to status is great to see too.
A lot of y’all have some OPINIONS of the show…it’s literally been one episode. If you don’t like it after the first episode and decide not to watch anymore that’s fine, but I don’t understand a lot of the criticism I’m seeing in these comments, specifically with respect to “is this a BL?” And mix’s “overacting.”
Korn and win CLEARLY have feelings for each other, although it appears to be unspoken. And from the last scene of episode 1 it seems like korn can see Win even tho he’s in Lin’s body. I know there’s a lot of disappointment from past body swap plots/preconceived notions about how the plot my turn out, but as a fan, I trust EarthMix in their selection of projects.
In regards to mix’s overacting…I feel like the acting is on point. I can understand confusion around win’s reactions/actions, but I think the point is to make him fairly unlikeable so that the character development hits deeper towards the end of the series.
Idk…maybe give it more than 1 episode before writing it off?
The gag is that they aren't even going to make more money this way. Intl fans have literally no way to watch it,…
You've said it perfectly! As upset as I am that I, as an international fan, cannot watch it, I'm mostly sad and disappointed for EarthMix. They brought a lot of new fans to GMMTV, myself included, after ATOTS, and now their second series is just getting swept under the rug. If GMMTV had issues with production, script, etc. They should have addressed that earlier as opposed to moving it to Disney+ and making it inaccessible to a large number of EarthMix fans/general viewers. EarthMix definitely deserve better, especially since it seems like they can't even address the fact the show isn't available to those who don't have Disney+ hotstar. The whole situation is puzzling and honestly a poor decision in general. I hope EarthMix got a nice chunk of that Disney+ money to offset the poor treatment they and their fans are receiving.
Part of me feels like that forehead kiss at the end was to confirm that Daon has liked Taekyung all along as well, because for some reason it wasn't clicking for people until like past the midway point of the show when it was pretty obvioud Daon liked him too.
I love how the show has been treating Daon's coming out journey and showing him feel so free this episode was truly heart warming. Him being able to tell Taekyung directly how he likes him, just shows how much he's progressed from the beginning where he's now able to act on his own accord instead of worrying about what others might think.
I honestly wouldn't mind Taekyung and Daon ending up together, but Noh Shinwoo is my absolute favorite character in this series so I'm hoping for Taekwoo endgame if not just to see Shinwoo smiling in the end. All the actors have done such an amazing job throughout the series, but I am so utterly impressed by YooSeok. He never fails to make me smile when he smiles nor tear up when he's clearly distressed and in his own head.
I'm not sure how likely it is, but considering it seems like we'll be ending the series with Taekyung making a decision, I hope we get a season 2.
I think the previews are misleading us so when Da-on said '' I can't be friends with you right now'' he was not…
Wait, i totally forgot that Daon said that to So Hee lol. You're right. I'm actually happy it doesn't go the way I described because the friendship of our student council boys is so pure, I wouldn't want to see it ruined or weakened in any way
theory time for Ep 15: I feel like we're moving towards TK and Shinwoo as endgame (yes, maybe I'm a little biased as this is entirely based on nothing but speculation). In one of the other previews, Daon tells Shinwoo he can't really be friends with him /nice to him right now. At first, I thought it was because he was full "I'm going after Taekyung" mode, but now I think it's because during the talk we'll see in Ep. 15 between Daon and Taekyung, Taekyung tells him he cares about him, but not so much in that way anymore. So he's "licking his wounds" because it's clear that this means Taekyung is starting to feel something towards Shinwoo.
Then in the Ep. 15 preview, Taekyung is looking for something and he looks sad when Shinwoo finds him. I feel like he somehow lost the keychain Shinwoo gave him, which leads me to believe he HAS FEELINGS FOR SHINWOO!
Thank you for coming to my ted talk. Now if you'll excuse me, I have clown makeup I need to put on.
Why i am getting second lead vibe from shinwoo???? 😭😭😭😭
Okay same! Idk the previews for ep. 12 make me believe this even more. Like they're hyping Shinwoo up just to break our hearts even more. Shinwoo telling Daon to go after Taekyung otherwise he will is very much second lead energy to me. Like he's playing a game of chicken with Daon.
