I only have two episodes left of this drama and I don't know if my heart can take it! I came here for Li Landi and Ao Rui Peng as I've always loved them in other dramas and I like their characters in this and how they never had any messy misunderstandings but I definitely found myself falling in love with Princess Ning and Yan Li and I hope my two babies get a happy ending in the final two episodes or I'll die

Just finished this fantastic drama, my heart is full but also sad. This drama was so good, I loved Ming Yi and Ji Bo Zai soooo much. Even Situ Ling who annoyed the heck out of me but was still fantastically acted. This drama is going to live in my heart for a long time 😭💜💜💜

I think this was the only drama that the age was the most noticeable, even though I love Bai Lu and she is super gorgeous, she just doesn't look late teens/early 20s anymore. She holds a timeless and mature elegance that suited the character but not the age, I could led it slide but they kept bringing up it had only been 10 years since she was a kid, her older sister looked younger than her as well. I think they should have aged the characters up a little bit for the cast they chose.

I stayed up all night finishing this Drama. Sure it had some slow moments and some holes in the plot here and there. But honestly I really enjoyed it, and the story kept you moving without being stagnated in a place for too long. I wish Bai Xi and Chong Zhao got a better ending or at least a proper kiss, I got obsessed with their storyline 😭

But overall I really liked this drama from start to finish. Why did I find myself almost getting more invested in Xing Yue and Jing Yuan love at the end 😂 Overall a good drama and I'll miss it. Plus Fan Yue's costumes were soooo good in this drama.

I've almost finished this, but all the letters are so easily intercepted! I have no idea why they think they can send any private letters as someone instantly snatches it the second they are sent out 😂

Finally just finished this drama, I'm not sure how to feel. It was definitely a chore to get through those last 10 eps lets just say that.

The show started with a lot of promise then just went a off the rails many times. It was messy but I managed to hold on to the end. It had positives but the aweful writing by the end just really let this drama down

I had literally no idea what was happening in that scene, it did feel super out of place lol

I did notice his 'toe' thumb and thought maybe they gave him that thumb ring to try and hide it but it made it way more obvious lol

Episode 13 really pulled me into this drama, I like both main leads and they act well but wasn't quite feeling their romantic chemistry but after ep 13 especially wowza those last 10 minutes was definitely a huge turning point for their development and relationship.

It was a shock that he wet himself but because LXY is a mature actor he made you really feel for his character and it was in no way made to be humorous at all. That scene made quite a buzz over on weibo. LXY did such good acting in this scene for us to really feel the shame and ptsd of the past of having to be taken care of in what he would feel as such a degrading and humiliating way. Mei Lin being also a more mature FL held no disgust or saw him any different, silently making him the sled to pull him on and getting him clean without seeing him as less of a man. This is the turning point so far in this drama and I'm now living for it.

The end of Ep 13 I have to talk about it for a second

I'm still hanging about this comment section, its so hard to move on from them 🥲

There is one 'kiss' scene, but it's filmed in a way that doesn't show mouth to mouth but it's still a kiss between the characters just not the actors lol

I was hooked pretty early 😂 but I think the story and characters really start going through a lot more development from about ep 10 onwards!

That ending completely wrecked me 😭😢

This drama was such a ride, Li Landi was so fantastic in her emotional scenes she really puts her heart and soul into them.

This was my first Allen Ren drama and wow he did sooo well. He emotes so well with his eyes. That ending though 💔

I hated Pei Yan through most of this drama why did he suddenly get into my top favourites by the end 😂

This show has destroyed me, gunna need a minute before I drive into anything else. I already miss them 🥲

I still haven't watched the final two eps and trying to drag this drama out before saying goodbye. But please let Cui and Lady Dong get together. That scene where they confess their love for each other but feel it can never be broke my heart. My baby Cui deserves all the happiness he's so sweet and gentle 😭

I'm not sure if I should start this drama right now or force myself to wait until I finish the drama I'm currently fixated on 😂 (Love in Nirvana) but gosh guys, the second I saw the trailer I was ready for this. I remember being so captivated by the FL way back in Ancient Love Poetry and thought she was one of the most beautiful women I'd ever seen and this drama looks like it will be on 🔥

I'm looking forward to the change of scenery in the upcoming eps and how the dynamics are going to go between the 3 Leads, and PY being so close to his goal of getting LC back into his grasp and the how that effects things between the characters

Does anyone else keep refreshing this comment section 😂 this show is sooo good but it feels like there's not much engagement. I hope this drama wont just get brushed under the rug, I think it entirely depends on the ending if its good or not. I can't believe we are over halfway through already! I can't wait for the new episodes tonight, this show is going to be the death of me I swear!
