BEST HISTORICAL CHINESE EVER !
I want to cry just to write this review. The Drama overwhelmed me with intense emotions at each episode whether it was joy, anxiety, fear, sadness. I was amazed by the exceptional quality of the special effects. The story has no respite, I did not find any useless length and each character is well developed. I like the chronology of the story and the fact that nothing is left to chance, we have all the answers to our questions. The romance between the two leads was solar and of ultimate confidence. The kind of solid relationship that can challenge everything together. One does not go into the other despite their various responsibilities and they have never been truly separated or far from the other for too long and that too was pleasant. I really liked the nice second leads also who all had their endearing personality regardless of their personal motivation. I had a preference for the world of immortals and mortals but paradise was not so bad also by knowing them all. In this Drama which is a masterpiece in my opinion that has very well respected the original novel work, I had my dose of everything: Beautiful romance, many kisses, avoided clichés, breathtaking fights, super OST (all great) captivating story with meaning to finish on a happy ending. It's a Drama that I HIGHLY recommend because it's really a ref and one of my favorites now.

BEST THRILLER WITH « YOUR HONOR » in summer 2024 for me !
AT FIRST GLANCE, THE TRAILER PROVED PROMISING, BUT I AM ALWAYS ON MY GUARD AGAINST THIS TYPE OF PROMISE. OFTEN, ONCE IMMERSED IN THE STORY, EXPECTATIONS COLLAPSE, FAILING TO MATCH THE ENTHUSIASM AROUSED BY THE TRAILER. YET, HERE, REALITY EXCEEDED MY CRAZIEST EXPECTATIONS.AFTER BEING INTRODUCED TO THE OWNERS OF BOTH ERAS, WE QUICKLY ENTER A HOT SCHOOL ATMOSPHERE, WHERE A PROVOCATIVE AND ENIGMATIC "GO MIN SI" EVOLVES. THE PLOT IS REVEALED WITHOUT DELAY, AND IT BECOMES OBVIOUS THAT SHE IS NOT THERE TO HAVE FUN WITH MEN, BUT RATHER TO FREE HER TORTUOUS SPIRIT. IT IS AN UNJUSTIFIED EXPRESSION, A PSYCHOLOGICAL FACET OF ITSELF THAT REACHES PEAKS OF PARADOX. SHE PAINTS, STRUTS IN A LUXURY CAR, LIKE A SPOILED HEIRESS, WHILE POORLY HIDING HER BLOODTY NATURE.
THE HEAVY ATMOSPHERE, THE AMBIENT SOUNDS, THIS ALMOST LOCK-UP INSIDE THE SUMPTUOUS HOTEL OF MODERN TIMES, AND THESE STRIKING METAPHORS ON FROGS THAT HAVE NOT ASKED FOR ANYTHING, ALL THIS ENCOURAGES REFLECTION. WHY COULD SUCH HORRORS FALL ON US, WHEN WE HAVE NOT REQUESTED ANYTHING? BY A WHIM OF KARMA? BY AN EXCESS OF BENEVOLENCE? OR SIMPLY FOR CLOSING YOUR EYES AT THE WRONG TIME?
KIM YOON SEOK HAS DONE A REMARKABLE JOB ALONGSIDE GO MIN SI. TOGETHER, THEY WERE ABLE, THROUGH THEIR CHARACTERS, TO ESTABLISH A CLIMATE OF HATRED MIXED WITH COMPLICITY, DESTINED FOR THE WORST. THE PALPABLE TENSION BETWEEN THEM, AS WELL AS THE MOMENTS OF ACTION, WERE OF SUCH AN IMMERSIVE INTENSITY THAT I FOUND MYSELF, CAPTIVE, WONDERING WHO WOULD WIN UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE. THE FIRST OWNER DID NOT MARK ME, BUT THE YOUNG SNIPER IN SEARCH OF REVENGE WOULD HAVE DESERVED A GREATER PLACE ON THE SCREEN.
OVERALL, I WAS CONQUERED BY THIS THRILLER, WHICH WAS ABLE TO AVOID SLOWNESS, OR AT LEAST, IT PROVED RELEVANT. ONE OF THE STRENGTHS UNDENIABLY LIES IN THE INTERPRETATION OF GO MIN SI, WHOSE SCENIC EXPRESSIONS ARE OF STRIKING DEPTH. HOWEVER, I CANNOT HELP BUT POINT OUT A SLIGHT DOWNSIDE: THE MOTIVATIONS OF HIS CHARACTER REMAIN OBSCURE, AND HIS ACTIONS, IN A CERTAIN WAY, ESCAPE ANY FORM OF PUNISHMENT.
I WARMLY RECOMMEND THIS KDRAMA!

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT !!! LIKE ALWAYS WITH THIS SCRIPTWRITER WOMAN !
I'd been eagerly awaiting this for a year and a half, and I can say without hesitation: I wasn't disappointed at all. From the very beginning, the world resonated deeply with me, and the screenwriter—as those who've seen my video already know—is one of my favorites, especially for her previous moving dramas (Forbidden Flower, among others). Once again, she managed to transport me through a fully realized and intense romance, set against the backdrop of a world of motor racing. Needless to say, it gave me an irresistible urge to discover the novelization.
The cinematography in Thailand was simply exceptional, and not just for its scenery: several scenes and shot choices gave the drama a real distinctive character, reinforcing its power and emotional impact.
Esther Yu was incredible! While I was sometimes skeptical about her behavior in the first few episodes, I truly saw an evolution and maturity as the episodes progressed, especially in the second half. (It reminded me of the girl's character development in HIDDEN LOVE). She was enterprising, brilliant, and determined, and her acting was spot-on and moving (her tears got to me more than once!).
He Yu, one of my favorite actors for the past few years, despite masterpieces like Dashing Youth and others, it's really SPEED AND LOVE that has given him true international exposure! I'm so proud of him. His character was absolutely perfect! I could totally have written a male lead like that! Sentimental and rebellious at the same time, but definitely protective. A man with a capital M.
I loved the credibility with which he portrayed this reckless driver, before completely reversing the dynamic in the second half of the drama. We then discover a new man, sporting a more mature look, driven by real projects, and committed to a particularly convincing physical and mental rehabilitation. He deeply touched me with his looks, his gestures, his attentiveness… to the point of moving me far beyond what I could have imagined.
Between breathtaking shots and landscapes, an intense romance punctuated by numerous kissing scenes, actors delivering their lines with great emotional precision, and a truly compelling story—no pun intended—I can only call it a real gem, fully living up to my expectations.
I think the entire cast poured a tremendous amount of energy into their performances, and I particularly enjoyed seeing Mike Angelo again, who I found very comfortable despite his relatively limited screen time. Each actor clearly stepped outside their comfort zone to make this story both believable and addictive.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this drama, and I sincerely hope you, too, had a wonderful time watching it.
10/10 !

It’s Not a lakorn, it’s a kdrama for me ^^
The cinematography is perfect, the romance is also perfect, the music, the atmosphere... The story... everything is neat and the way it is shot really looks like a kdrama, not a lakorn.I highly recommend it because it is unique in its kind there are no two like it.
The actors are good and the alchemy between the two is green flag

A delicious slow burn romance
A collaboration I was eagerly awaiting. It's a sweet and subtle slow-burn romance, where emotions and events unfold like a metaphor for the creation of chocolate.
I'm thinking, for example, of wasabi chocolate: spicy at first bite, then tender and comforting once it melts into the heart. I associated this chocolate with the hug scene: a difficult moment, imbued with their respective traumas, but all the more touching once comfort is found. And as a bonus, this scene evokes a nostalgic memory, like a sweetness savored with a delay...
Each story was linked to a chocolate, and each chocolate to an episode.
The music and shots were carefully chosen, with great aesthetic accuracy.
The casting did a remarkable job: both actors were deeply touching.
Shun is an exceptional actor; perfectly in sync with his partner, they exude the same energy, a beautiful harmony on screen. Hyo Joo, for her part, was splendid: she seemed almost Japanese, and her accent was impressive! I wasn't always in sync with some of her performances, but given the context, it was probably difficult for her to display more confidence.
Overall, I really liked this drama, even though I would have expected more romantic connections.
It's a beautiful story that's a change from the usual ones where I laughed, cried, and loved with them! When he tries to speak Korean, OMG 😍😍😍
It's not an exceptional drama, but it's a touching one that deserves to be seen, where you're sure to have a good time! The cooking is limited to the chocolate factory, so she's present, but there's more. What a great cast!

BIG JOKE NO JOKE
IT'S RARE THAT I FINISH A LONG AND MODERN LAKORN SINCE 2020. AND THIS ONE I DON'T KNOW WHY BUT I SUCCEEDED WHEN EVERYTHING IS DONE TO MAKE YOU ANGRY WITHOUT LAUGHING! THE STORY RESEMBLES THAT OF CINDERELLA ON PAPER. BUT SHE IS MUCH LESS GLORIOUS...INDEED, THE LEAD IS FORCED TO TRY TO BECOME RICH TO SATISFY HER POOR PARENTS WHO ARE NOT INTERESTED IN FINDING A SOLUTION THEMSELVES. PREFERRING TO BET THEIR FUTURE ON THE UNDOUBTED BEAUTY OF THEIR DAUGHTER
THIS ONE OBVIOUSLY ATTRACTING THE FAVOR OF THREE RICH MEN VERY QUICKLY, EVEN 4 INCLUDING HER BOSS, QUICKLY FINDS HERSELF OVERWHELMED BY ALL HER STATEMENTS, GIFT REQUESTS ETC...
BUT DO YOU TELL YOURSELF WHAT THE PROBLEM IS?
4 GUYS FOR HER THERE IS ONLY TO CHOOSE!
THE PROBLEM IS THAT:
1) THE FIRST GENTLEMAN HAS A COMPLETELY CRAZY MOTHER WHO LIVES ONLY FOR HIM AND DOES NOT LET A SINGLE FRACTION OF THE SECOND BREATHE GOING SO FAR AS TO HAVE A PRIVATE DETECTIVE ASSISTANT WHO FOLLOWS HIM ALL THE TIME.
2) THE SECOND IS COMPLETELY CRAZY HIMSELF, VIOLENT, ARROGANT WHO THROWS THE MONEY THROUGH THE WINDOWS AND REFUSES TO BE TOLD NO. NOT TO MENTION THAT HIS MOTHER IS PAYING FOR A TOY BOY
3) THE THIRD WHO IS THE TOY BOY OF THE MOTHER OF THE SECOND IS THE MOST LOVING BUT HE ALSO PLAYS THE FAKE RICH LIKE THE LEAD AND HE HAS A COMPLETELY CRAZY FATHER WHO DRINKS AND FORCES HIS SON TO DEFEAT RICH WOMEN
4) THE FOURTH IS HIS BOSS, OLD "UGLY" WHO SAYS THAT HE WILL DIVORCE HIS WIFE FOR YEARS BUT IS STILL WITH AND WANTS THE CREAM THE BUTTER AND THE C*** OF THE CREAM
SO A SENSIBLE PERSON WOULD SAY...
WELL TOO BAD FOR MY PARENTS BUT EVERYTHING IS THROWN AWAY NONE IS MADE FOR ME THEY ALL HAVE A PROBLEM.
WELL, NO! MADAME DECIDES TO GIVE EVERYONE A CHANCE IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER BY GOING OUT, KISSING OR LEAVING DOORS OPEN.
IT'S NOT!
CLEARLY THE 1ST WAS MY FAVORITE FROM THE BEGINNING AND WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS CHARACTER CLEARLY BROKE THE SHOW FOR ME. THERE ARE A LOT OF INCOHERENT MOMENTS OF PASSAGES WHERE WE WANT TO SHAKE EVERYONE BECAUSE EVERYONE HAS ABNORMAL REACTIONS AND ACTIONS.
WHY DID I CONTINUE? I THINK THE FIRST PART FOR ROMEO N°1 AND 3 BECAUSE I SAW IN THEM A POTENTIAL BRIGHT FUTURE FOR HER.
BUT THE LAST PART WHEN ROMEO 1 AND 4 DID SHIT OR HAD A BAD FATE I CLEARLY FINISHED THE DRAMA TO FINISH IT WITHOUT CONVICTIONS.
BY MIRACLE I MANAGED TO SHED A TEAR IN THE LAST EPISODE (24) WHEN ONE OF THE CHARACTERS FINALLY HAD A FLOOR THAT LIT UP IN HIS BRAIN THAT SHOULD HAVE ALREADY TURNED ON FOR 10 EPISODES BACK BUT BETTER LATE THAN NEVER AS THEY SAY LOL
IN THE END, THE LESSON I LEARNED FROM ALL THIS?
BETTER TO BE POOR WITH VALUES THAN RICH AND ROTTEN TO THE BONE!
IN CONCLUSION, IS
I RECOMMEND THIS DRAMA?
I THINK THAT IF YOU WRITE A THESIS ON THE LACK OF NEURONS IN PEOPLE WITH GREED IN THE CONTEXT OF PSYCHOLOGICAL STUDIES, IT WILL BE VERY FRUITFUL.
OTHERWISE GO YOUR WAY I'LL SAVE YOU 25 HOURS OF SUFFERING.
BEFORE I THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD SHOW BUT THERE ARE TOO MANY MISTAKES ON THE LAST ACT
OVERALL RATING: 9/20
KISS: 15/20
HISTORY: 2/20
CHARACTERS: 2/20
CINEMATOGRAPHY: 12/20
ENDING: 12/20
MUSIC: 11/20

OK.
Season 3 is coming to an end, with consistently polished visuals and new gameplay that's as captivating as it is addictive. The tension is there, but you can still feel that some momentum has been lost along the way. I admit that, despite the hype, this season left me quite confused. The deaths follow one another in a dramatic, sometimes even excessive, manner. The baby, tossed around like a puppet, remains surprisingly stoic (too wise for what he's going through, poor thing...). Some characters we hoped would shine quickly disappear, victims of fates that aren't always fair.
I appreciated the behind-the-scenes look at these rich old Westerners who are as detestable as they are caricatures. Cliché, yes, but it works. This season is undeniably dark—not just in its aesthetic, but also in its responses. We're given bits and pieces to piece together, but the end result isn't quite what we'd hoped for.
I'm happy to be wrapping up this trilogy, but I'm still a little disappointed. Ultimately, I preferred season 2, which was richer in emotion and punctuated with welcome humor. Here, between grief and anger, the palette remains rather limited.
A must-see, yes—but not necessarily a must-see—for this third season.

GOOD TO WATCH !
It was definitely worth the wait! I devoured the first episodes straight away upon release, captivated by the opening credits (always perfect and catchy music) and the beauty of the visuals. Whether it's the battlefields, the details of the armor, the color scheme, or the palaces, nothing is left to chance! You can tell the budget was there! The cast includes the magnificent Cheng Lei, whom I couldn't wait to see again in a dark role like in My Journey to You. He's perfect, he still has the same presence, something magnetic that gives him a confident charisma when he has to speak in front of a crowd of warriors.
With gentleness and firmness, our very, very beautiful Zhou Ye plays the main female character. I was a little perplexed by her slender physique for a girl who has been overtrained since birth in the story, but she won me over! She was fair, endearing, strong, and clearly equal to men! She reminded me of the heroine of LEGEND OF SHENLI, whom I loved above all else!
Over 36 episodes, how did I find the story?
Well, I was NEVER BORED! Yes, some plots weren't the most exciting at times, and especially some secondary plots didn't really interest me, but the story is relentless because there's always a twist or a fight that takes place, so I didn't feel particularly drawn out.
Regarding playing a "man," Zhou Ye delivered on the "fights" front; she didn't seem ridiculous to me because she had the "attitude." On the other hand, her reactions, even before her identity was revealed, were quite feminine. I note that sometimes it made the commander more dominant, not in the "evil" sense, but he took a little more of the upper hand, while I was looking for a little more firmness when she spoke to him and less "cute." But that's a detail.
Overall, it lived up to my expectations: I was looking for impeccable visual spectacle, impressive fights, sublime leads, and convincing acting! The only slight downside that makes me deduct half a point is that I was really sold on a lot more "romance": I had to settle for two-thirds of the drama with simple eye contact, only to finally get a bit of romance towards the end. Many will appreciate that this isn't a dominant aspect of the drama, and in a way, that's a good thing, because we're primarily looking for a warrior, not a love interest. But... I really would have liked more missed moments, little romantic opportunities throughout the story! That doesn't change the fact that the drama remained faithful to the book, and it was incredible, especially the final battle where they fought together, like Yin and Yang!
A drama to watch again and again, without hesitation!

A story where your own beliefs will be questioned ;)
I launched "THE WITCH", a bold ten-episode project, aware that the pace would be slow and that the style would take the paths of melodrama. However, I decided to launch myself with my eyes closed, carried by the undeniable talent of Jin Young, this actor and idol, a real green flag, capable of drawing the most buried tears in me. From the first moments, one element appeals to me: cinematography. The shots follow one another, colored with graying hues, while the snow falls gently, inviting me to immerse myself in a universe that is both sad and poignantly beautiful. The first episodes oscillate between the past and the present, skillfully mixing the memories of the leads with their evolution. We try to unravel the mystery of their meeting, while questioning ourselves about the sinister fatality that strikes all men approaching the female lead. This enigma is at the heart of the quest for the male lead, who works to decipher this persistent tragedy. With his mathematical and scientific approach, it is certain that this quest causes some headaches. Nevertheless, this approach gives the fantastic element "witch", a tangible and fascinating dimension that captivates attention and arouses curiosity. It makes the drama much more “earthly”.We can't really talk about alchemy here since encounters and dialogues are limited. The drama stands out more as an endless investigation than a love story even if that is the goal behind it all. However, I found that the actress perfectly managed to carry the weight of her "curse" with a deep sadness and a very lonely behavior. Park Jin Young, for his part, once again proved that he was an excellent actor to convey emotions. I really liked the cop friend in it who touched me a lot and who would have deserved more development. Overall 10 episodes is short to get attached to the characters given the few encounters between each. But I found that each of the people in the cast played their role well.
The main assets to consider for the launch of this drama are undoubtedly: the format, the cast and the originality of the story. Indeed, we have here the opportunity to explore a story that has never been addressed before, a rarity in the universe of contemporary kdramas, which suffers cruelly from it.
Overall, I was satisfied with the plot, despite a romance that sometimes seemed frustrating to me. But, in all honesty, I was not bored for a single second, I was so impatient to collect the pieces of this fascinating puzzle. The drama manages to maintain a captivating suspense, a real force that distinguishes it.
Thus, if you are looking for stories that stimulate reflection and that mix beliefs, mythology and strange phenomena, do not miss this kdrama!

GREAT MODERN/TRADI KDRAMA !
On my list from the start because I really like Lee Chae Min in everything he does, and Yoona, I like her more and more; her acting is improving, and the emotions are there. Not being a big fan of cooking dramas, even though I've seen a ton of them, I was thrilled to launch a story that blends modernity in 2025 with the old times through time travel. The first episodes won me over! Whether it was Lee Chae Min, with her undeniable charisma as King Joseon, or Yoona, radiant, on point in her emotions and performances, not to mention the dose of humor that made the whole thing sparkle with kindness. Kang Hanna's acting didn't really touch me; the writing for her character was relatively cold, so she left me neither hot nor cold.
The dishes were visually exquisite, and the arrangement of each dish was mouthwatering! It was beautiful, colorful, and appetizing. Although the culinary complexity was too much for my taste, to the detriment of the romance, I still loved seeing the King stuff himself, haha.
Exactly, let's talk about the romance!
I found it sublime. There was good chemistry between the two, but in a "sweet" and "caring" way, like two people who have been together for a very long time. Like a habit. However, I didn't feel any passionate or sensual chemistry, which was 200% due to the age difference, for sure. However, that didn't stop me from loving them immensely together and also laughing at the old-couple snark they would make at each other.
Overall, I loved BON APPÉTIT YOUR MAJESTY because it's a story that exudes positive vibes. Despite the corruption and internal conflicts, I didn't feel the war politics were very present. It's still a rom-com, so nothing to give you a headache. I thank the entire cast for their nuanced and remarkable performances. I loved the music and can't wait to get the soundtrack album.
I would add a small criticism at the end for the unanswered questions regarding Monsieur's arrival. Indeed, in 2025, there are things that can't be magical without administrative oversight! In short, let's let magic exist anyway!
I obviously recommend BON APPÉTIT YOUR MAJESTY! This year's favorite for me.

VERY GOOD BUT THE 2 LAST EPISODES…
I was initially very taken with KISS DYNAMITE, mainly because I immediately felt a real "old-school" K-drama vibe, like the ones from 2016 that I love: a very central romance, unapologetic emotions, and direction that takes its time building tension between the characters. I found the beginning genuinely engaging, with an addictive couple dynamic and chemistry that works from the very first episodes. Seeing the lead actor again, whom I adore, clearly worked in the drama's favor; he brings real charisma and manages to make his character endearing despite some weaknesses in the writing.Visually, the drama is, for me, one of its biggest strengths. The cinematography is polished, the sets and color palette create an elegant and modern atmosphere, while remaining very romantic. The OST is also very well done: the tracks are well-placed, memorable, and enhance the emotional impact of important scenes, to the point that some stay with you long after watching. In this respect, KISS DYNAMITE fulfills its role perfectly and greatly contributes to the enjoyment of watching the series.
However, the further the story progressed, the more I felt the plot lost its coherence. The situations became repetitive, some conflicts seemed artificial, and there was a palpable desire to create drama at all costs, even when it wasn't truly justified. Where the drama would have benefited from developing its characters or their dilemmas, it sometimes opted for easy solutions and clichés, which began to weaken the overall effect.
The last two episodes, in particular, deeply disappointed me. Everything felt rushed: important decisions were made without real development, narrative arcs were dispatched in a few scenes, and some subplots were either poorly concluded or simply abandoned.
I also felt that the emotion, though well-constructed earlier, disappeared in favor of excessive dramatic events that added nothing to the story. The ending is sorely lacking in emotional satisfaction, especially after the investment the K-drama demanded.
Ultimately, KISS DYNAMITE remains a thoroughly enjoyable drama for me, carried by a solid cast, beautiful direction, and a nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of classic K-dramas. However, this experience was somewhat marred by a rushed and frustrating ending, which feels like wasted potential. It's the kind of drama I enjoyed watching at the time, but I'm left with a bitter taste because of its final episodes; however, I would have regretted not watching it.

BEST LAW KDRAMA 2025
The first legal drama I'm truly passionate aboutBeyond the Bar was on my list for its casting, but certainly not for its theme. So I was very surprised when, from the very first episode, I was drawn in by this very special first case to defend. The meticulous cinematography, an absolutely sublime cast with spot-on performances... I found myself devouring the episodes with great anticipation!
Under its lighthearted LOVE SCOUT feel—because love isn't the central theme—we discover a workaholic lead, marked by some past trauma, and a patient, attentive assistant, with whom a simple exchange of glances is enough to connect. I really liked the atmosphere and the obvious chemistry between the two.
Some, bothered by the age gap (even though it's absolutely nothing new in a kdrama, even a romantic one), will describe their bond as a "mentor/junior" relationship. For my part, I understood where the screenwriter was going: a slow-burn romance (a bit like Backstreet Rookie), where, to maintain a certain rigor and logic despite the age difference, the two characters gradually become intimate. But the story clearly leaves the door ajar for "more than just colleagues," hence the open ending. It suggests that with time, and a few more years, a real relationship could blossom, as if he were waiting for her to mature further.
Overall, it's flawless... I experienced a veritable whirlwind of emotions watching this drama, thanks to its increasingly intriguing and touching cases, as well as its main and secondary characters, all of whom possess real depth. The gentle and well-balanced soundtrack, the striking opening credits, and the carefully chosen camera shots make it an excellent legal drama, far from being boring, unlike its recent predecessor. I can only recommend it: you'll fly by and almost regret there aren't 16 of them, for once!
On the romance side, don't expect anything fully realized, but a lot of things come across through the looks—even if we would have liked more. On the other hand, the supporting characters delight us in this regard! In short, a must-see!
10/10

GREAT CDRAMA
Neither too long nor too short, this drama has a perfect format.A very neat visual and really beautiful music. It is a drama that imposes itself by its simple style and although "DÉJÀ VU" the magic operates thanks to a double beautiful alchemy between couples. The story is really very beautiful and I really like it when we mix historical and modern. It's really THE DRAMA not to be missed because it's simple and does its job. There's everything in it and the setting is really very pretty!
Go ahead, believe me, I'm an expert in cdramas!
