BEST SHORT HISTO ROMANCE !

What new can this drama bring to the K-histo landscape? This is the question I asked myself before launching it, because I know that even if we have fewer historical dramas than modern ones, most of them all look alike, because they belong to history in general.
Here, we are fully in a fantasized vision of an uninhibited Joseon. Indeed, the use of a famous book containing very erotic illustrations seems to break the usual rules. It would almost be like in "Bridgerton" Korean version on some aspects. The tone is quickly set: here, we will not talk about politics, but about marriage! And even if often the two go hand in hand, the drama chooses to focus simply on the romantic aspect by exploiting the sexuality (and its discovery) of the women of the Royal Palace. Of course, at first, it's weird, but something keeps us in suspense right away: THE CASTING!

With a cast like this, the acting was superb, both from the point of view of emotions and the chemistry between the couples because of the close ages. Exit just the baby cries of Go Ara I will never get used to it I think lol but otherwise she totally has her place in history, she played so well! Chang RYUL I have no more words... He totally carried the drama with his charisma, his mysterious side; independent and his benevolence!

There is not much to say about this ten-episode drama, because it does not dwell on heavy issues such as wars or politics. We are here immersed in a gentle work, like a bold fairy tale, narrated with delicacy throughout the episodes. The story of the princess and her companions of the Palace is revealed little by little, revealing loves, friendships and deceptions that intertwave with finesse.

The story highlights women who, despite the marital constraints of the time, fight for their rights and independence. It is clear that the drama places the woman at the center of its plot, thus addressing an audience eager for stories that correspond to her. I spent a wonderful time in front of this series, seduced by the richness of each character, each of whom is distinguished by his own interest. The romances, all marked by their singular charm, intertaine while the main relationship is distinguished by a POWERFUL chemistry.

The visuals, on occasion, transport us, especially during memorable scenes, such as the hang gliding walk. In addition, the twists come at the right time, keeping the suspense brilliantly. I highly recommend this drama to those who appreciate light history and wish to take a break with too complex plots.

However: lightness does not mean heavy humor! Here we laugh at the right dose :)

Go for it because you will see what an UNCOMPLEXED and FREE history is!

GOOD BUT OK. Not the best show DGZ

I am quite disappointed with the story.

The FL is a bit like the star of the show and I felt the drama quite feminist. Finally it's a good thing compared to the usual clichés of women in the Republican era dramas but this FL was quite boring and had nothing badass. She looked like a bad second lead rather than a nice heroine with a heart.

The KISS were rather good, but I didn't feel a palpable chemistry (but it’s was better ep 16). I still stay on maids revenge which remains her best performance. However, the story was a little less overplayed than maids revenge. I found the villain more "credible" and I liked that there were fewer low blows than usual.

I would like to see DGZ in a serious role and a long drama now!!!

Cheap version

I would never understand how we can enjoy this show which is a remake of a masterpiece that did not need another version.

Actors have fewer charisms, actors are less emotional. There is no soundtrack comparable to that of the Taiwanese version. Everyone who has seen the original version shouts for help.

There are remakes that should not exist and botch this masterpiece in fast Netflix production while the story is longer and detailed in the original it's waste.

I don't recommend this version

A BEAUTIFUL AND COMPLEXE DRAMA FOR GENIUS PEOPLE <3

From the first minutes of the first episode, I was captivated by a dark and enigmatic atmosphere, an intense closed-door story centered on a protagonist in search of healing. We quickly sense his cry for help, but the intrusion of disturbing temporal elements blurs our bearings. The line between simulation, reality, and the interference of other characters blurs, creating a disconcerting but fascinating atmosphere.

The romance, meanwhile, is off the beaten track. Strange, almost unreal, it captivates with the mirror-like nature of the bond between the two characters. The chemistry between Li Ying and Yin Fang is striking: their performance, of rare precision, exudes truth and nuance.

It feels like we're watching a feature film, such is the meticulous direction. The cinematography is remarkably beautiful!

The water drops sparkle in the darkness like star fragments, and the impressively masterful special effects give the story the feel of a film. For a "small" drama of only eight episodes, the visual quality and the resources employed are breathtaking.

This is a resolutely ambitious drama, tailored for curious minds eager for depth. From the very first scenes, we sense this desire to delve into the twists and turns of mental health into poetic, almost dreamlike material. Each metaphor seems carefully placed, like a tightrope strung between pain and beauty. This mysterious script, laden with symbolism, possesses the captivating charm of works that reveal themselves only to those willing to lose themselves completely in it. It has, somehow, the power to steal a piece of your soul if you watch it with an open heart.

The direction, as unique as ever, once again deserves praise: it's daring, it's disconcerting, it's fascinating. The casting, for its part, seems tailor-made, so inhabited are the performances.

Certainly, some gray areas remain, questions remain unanswered, but in hindsight, the essentials are self-evident, like a silent evidence. This is exactly the kind of drama I crave: a work where you can feel the writer's deep investment, the desire to create something dense, atypical, almost experimental.

I highly recommend it, but with one caveat: don't start it lightly. Give it your full attention, settle into a calm, open mind. Only then will your mind truly be able to immerse itself in its unique universe. LETS goooooo!!!

BEST OF CDRAMA FIRST 2025

CITY OF ROMANCE presents itself as a university romance like "Lighter And Princess" with many similar ingredients:

1) the nonchalent lead (at the beginning)

2) The bunch of super friends

3) Strong and fluid alchemy

So you say to yourself, yes ok, well we're going to fall back into the usual good old clichés... AND WELL NO, not as you think! No, the girl doesn't fall in love with the bad boy, no, he doesn't have one anyway, and no, love doesn't come at first sight either. It is built. He hates lies and his family has always rocked him into them as well as his ppl. SHE, she only lies to hide a past pain. So obviously when the two meet there is absolutely no chance that it can work and yet little by little he discovers his pain, and she understands his principles....

XIAO DUO student, fan of comics and in particular of BLACK his favorite illustrator whose identity is secret. Xiao was not always pretty and thin in his childhood and lies often protected him from the worst things. She is very smiling and playful. She may seem superficial at first, but very quickly you understand that she has great strength of character and sensitivity. It reveals itself from episode to episode!

YAN CHENG psychology student and illustrator in his spare time, he has a very calm and serious temperament, he smiles little but he is very altruistic observer and protective. He suffers the absence of his parents, despite his friends, he is quite alone. He reminded me of the character of Honey Lemon Soda. He is very kind and introverted, an endearing character who doesn't need to make tons of them.

XIAO YANG the best friend of our lead Yan Cheng who has a playful personality close to our female lead. He is very fun, always the word to laugh, he contrasts a lot with the personality of the lead since he is extroverted. We loved it in Stay With me. So a pleasure to find him here.

What struck me in it and conquered me was really the "art/drawing" part indeed, for the role, they literally created a whole comic fiction with characters, derivative products, complete books, crazy decorations! I was impressed how carefully every detail was built around the secret illustrator "BLACK". I even thought that if it was on sale, I will definitely buy the illustrations!

The more we advance, the more pain appears and tongues untie. I loved seeing the fragility of the leads without false appearances and the communication he had. We learn that sometimes lying is not bad, it can protect, serve as a shield.

A scene particularly impressed me, is that of the father of the lead and the hero when the former accompanies him by car to the station. He shows her things, talks to her about his daughter, he evokes the loss of his wife... A conversation essential to the script and that triggers strong emotions for the lead.

In short, it's a real favorite! I was in total immersion with the universe of comics, the benevolence of the drama without cliché, the endearing characters. The solar romance, the pains of each character, the cinematography, the music... in short EVERYTHING! For me it is and will be too underside while this drama is a masterpiece! You have to realize it, it makes no noise, but what it contains is a treasure! I recommend it of course! 20/2O !!!!

BEST OFFICE ROMANCE 2025 1rt HALF FOR SURE !!!!!!!!!! MASTERPIECE

Let's start at the beginning. At the announcement of the drama, it was quite natural that the posters would hit me in the eye and that it would end up on my imminent list after *Love Your Enemy*. A good replacement! From the first episode, the magic operates illico! I want to know more about the protagonist; I feel a great fragility hidden behind a concrete wall (it smells of experience...). The protagonist arrives at the right time: a single dad in search of a new job that will prove to be the remedy for our sublime business leader, a workaholic. I really loved this brief beginning of misunderstanding that created a perfect distance to fill in slow burn romance.

Little by little, she learned to trust him, to REST on him, and we can say that our single dad was rather a solid shoulder! Exemplary. I already had views on his charisma and his game in *Vigilante*, but then he totally stole my heart! His character was full of empathy, and he expressed himself through his actions and eyes rather than with beautiful words, and we love that in the protagonists like that!

This drama has become a real obsession for me, so much I became attached to the characters thanks to their remarkable acting, their alchemy being palpable in every scene. The soundtrack bewitched me so much that I rushed to the physical album as soon as it was commercial release!

Of course, it is a drama anchored in the world of work, where the offices of our head of business occupy a prominent place, but I was not bored at any time. The protagonist's past with the father intrigued me deeply, and I was trying to understand the pain that inhabited her.

In the end, this drama turns out to be both simple and light, where the protagonists and the soundtrack do 90% of the work to captivate our attention. I highly recommend it to those who appreciate mature and family romances, because it overflows with emotions, especially thanks to the protagonist's little girl. It illustrates how a single, sane father can raise his child without needing anyone else.

It is admirable that the drama highlights the challenges faced by single parents, while showing that everything is possible in the end. It is important to remember that in South Korea, being a single-parent family remains a taboo subject. So, a big thank you to the dramas for thinking of everyone! Don't delay in finding out!

THE BEST DHEVAPROM FOR ME AND FOR THE THAILAND

For me he will forever remain the best dhevaprom, and also the one that has been the most successful in Thailand.

The causes: magnificent OSTs, including 1 sung by PEAK (great idol in Thailand and main lead)

- the main couple has become a real couple in life.

- the visuals were more worked than in the others

- the casting is young, really young.

- the alchemy of the couple is undeniable

DUJAPSORN signs an ultra romantic phase in the DHEVAPROM universe and all this general atmosphere between the music and the characters and the hard scenes with RUMPA and his daughter, really filled me with a whirlwind of emotion. I really liked it too much and I'm still addicted to drama.

REALLY GOOD IN ACTING

(SORRY for my english)

A profoundly human experience, between identity, invisible bonds, and unfulfilled tenderness.

I discovered Unwritten Seoul when this month's dramas were announced, and I was quickly drawn in when I started it. This K-drama deeply touched me with its sincere and almost modest look at human emotions, complicated relationships, and the loneliness we sometimes feel even when surrounded by others.

What struck me most was Park Bo Young's performance, absolutely remarkable in her dual role as twin sisters. She succeeds in portraying two women who are both close and different, each with their own experiences, their wounds, their silences. Even if their personalities overlap at times, we feel that they are two separate beings, and that's precisely what I found intelligent and true: the drama doesn't treat them as a single entity, but rather as two women, with their own ways of feeling, loving, and struggling. I also really enjoyed the romance, while retaining a slight hint of regret: the second love story, softer and more implicit, particularly touched me. Perhaps because it doesn't end the way I would have liked... but that's precisely why it makes the experience more realistic, more poignant.

Another aspect I found very powerful is the way one of the twins learns to stand up for herself, inspired by the strength of the other. Through this bond, the drama addresses powerful themes like gender-based harassment, without ever falling into pathos or overreaction. It's handled with great respect, and above all, with a message of mutual aid and sisterhood that really resonated with me.

Overall, I would say that Unwritten Seoul reminded me of series like Tangerines, which gently address real, powerful issues, not to mention the slice-of-life aspect. It's not an action drama or a fireworks display of twists and turns: it's a work that you watch with your eyes open, but above all with your heart wide open. Unwritten Seoul is a delicate, human K-drama, driven by a moving actress and sincere themes. It speaks of duality, love, resilience, and above all, the richness of existing fully as an individual, even when connected to someone else. Babi (Park Jin Young's nickname) deeply touched me with his wounds and his hearing loss. He once again played his role perfectly. For me, this drama is a success. As for the cast, there are some very beautiful ballads as well, and the romance, the kisses, were convincing!

I wasn't far from a favorite, but it's highly recommended. 7,5/10 !

BEST KDRAMA 2025

"Head Over Heels" was the perfect opportunity to reunite for a second time with the beloved cast of School 2021 (a series I simply adored), this time reunited in a fantastic rom-com just the way we love them!

From the very first minutes, I was completely captivated by the staging of the shamanic ritual, the meticulous visuals, and especially by the luminous presence of Choi Yi Hyun, whom I'm delighted to see back on screen – she's absolutely resplendent!

Then we enter the "school" part, everything I love in K-dramas: funny, incredible situations, a fresh first-love feel, and a warm atmosphere between the characters.

Very quickly, the plot takes hold: the encounter between our lead and the shaman is breathtaking. A stunning entrance – literally – that immediately announces a touch of strangeness and mystery.

What completely made me fall in love with this drama, beyond the cast, which I adore; it's three things in particular:

1) The ghost stories, all different and deeply touching. Each one hides a powerful dramatic dimension: a baby beaten to death, a child enlisted far too young in a military context... Heartbreaking stories that we discover little by little, accompanied by problems to resolve. As a big fan of series like Ghost Whisperer, I was completely captivated by this human and emotional dimension of the drama.

2) The OSTs! Absolutely sublime. Each piece transported me, and the musical ambiance reminded me a lot of Lovely Runner. And what can I say about Choo Young Woo's angelic voice? A real auditory crush!

3) The Korean shamanic universe. I am literally fascinated! The rituals, the costumes, the amulets... nothing is left to chance. The attention to detail is incredible, right down to that human amulet idea (OMG ❤️). I love this universe so much that I even have big personal projects related to it.

The actors delivered remarkable performances throughout the drama!

I particularly loved Choo Young Woo, who was impressive in a dual role. He perfectly adapts his acting and even his voice to match the soul within him. So much so that we naturally end up forming two teams: Team Bong Su vs. Team Gyeon Wu! A truly powerful, masterful, and nuanced performance.

The supporting actors and the BFF are also real gems! I loved them all:
– the one with his little dog (so endearing),
– the slightly grungy girl,
– the other with her big, expressive eyes,
– and especially the best friend, so perfect: kind, loyal, courageous, caring… a true ray of sunshine in the drama!

As for Choi Yi Hyun, the lead actress, she's simply sublime. Still as sweet, radiant, but also determined. Unlike the lead in Lovely Runner (whom I sometimes found a little annoying despite her willpower), she seemed more nuanced and endearing to me. She embodies emotions with great accuracy, and she brought more than a few tears to my eyes.

On the other hand, I had a lot of trouble with the witch, whom I found very selfish. She gets some pseudo-development towards the end, but it wasn't enough for me to like her.

Finally, the mother and the shaman didn't particularly make an impression on me. They spent their time dictating what to do to the lead, as if they were there solely to "move the story forward." It was more functional than emotional, let's say.

THE ROMANCE:

So, between us, this isn't a drama that stands out for its close relationships because it's mostly academic, but it really had a sweet and innocent chemistry, and I really liked all their interactions, especially the first one when he closed his hand over hers—it was a sublime scene!

The actors deliver accurate, passionate, and sincere performances. Added to this are the captivating music, polished visuals, and a range of deep emotions conveyed through each ghost's story as well as the main plot. All these elements combined give this K-drama the success it fully deserves. Choo Young Woo stands out once again: charismatic, nuanced, expressive… He clearly has a long and promising career ahead of him, regardless of the roles he chooses to take on in the future.

Admittedly, there are some hesitations in the last two episodes, which are a little more muddled and less masterful than the rest of the series. But overall, the main plot is well resolved, and several elements make sense in retrospect, which allows for a generally satisfying ending.

“Head Over Heels” is a drama that deeply captivated me. One of those that we watch with pleasure... and that we don't hesitate to watch again. I can only warmly recommend it!

BEST PSYCHOLOGIC SCHOOL DRAMA !!

As a big fan of this type of K-drama, I obviously didn't hesitate for a second before jumping in. And when, on top of that, I was cast with Jung Ha, whom I loved in Moving, as well as Do Wan, who excels in bad boy roles... I jumped in without a second thought!

The unique feature of ONE HIGH SCHOOL HEROES is that it clearly stands out from other dramas of the genre with a much more pronounced psychological dimension. Here, there are no drug dealers, grand conspiracies, or even a good-natured atmosphere between classmates. No, here, the fight is the heart of the story: raw, dry, and unfiltered.

The hierarchy system is reminiscent of the levels in a video game, where each boss is tougher than the last. And that famous ending always seems out of reach. Our heroes, far from being weak this time, must take down the bullies one by one, each for their own reasons:

The first seeks revenge, in a roundabout way, on his father. His only learned form of expression is violence. The second is driven by a more intimate, personal vengeance.

Jung Ha, for his part, was captivating. We may not yet be at the level of Park Ji Hoon in Weak Hero Class 1 with his intense dark gaze, but he does very well in a role that's bolder than usual. Cold and determined, he completely immersed himself in his character.

What really struck me were the scenes where his character buries his trauma in heavy silence, enhanced by a black and white aesthetic. It was both strikingly beautiful and chillingly realistic.

Music-wise, aside from the opening theme, no OST really stood out to me. Nothing that transported me like the soundtrack to Weak Hero Class 1 did, which, it must be said, has become a true benchmark for dark school K-dramas.

As for Do Wan, he was excellent. I loved his unabashedly brawling attitude and his well-timed comebacks. But something about his underlying intentions bothered me: deep down, he fanned a flame that was already raging. He dragged an exemplary student into a spiral of violence, turning him into a reflection of his own trauma.

Overall, it's a real success for me! I really enjoyed watching this drama, which tackles a subject that is unfortunately still relevant in South Korea: school violence. It's a weighty but necessary theme, as it both denounces this violence and gives a little strength to those who feel weak or isolated.

ONE HIGH SCHOOL HEROES has fewer positive vibes than Study Group, which emphasized education and conveyed a more encouraging message. In this respect, Study Group will undoubtedly remain a more emblematic reference in the Korean landscape. But when it comes to psychological depth, darkness, and dramatic intensity, ONE HIGH SCHOOL HEROES wins hands down.

The positive note I take away, as a moral, is the crucial importance of education. This drama highlights the extent to which the family environment shapes children's behavior. Providing a supportive environment and setting a positive example can truly change a trajectory. And that's exactly what parents like the protagonist's father should understand. Domestic violence never stays confined within four walls: it spreads and eventually explodes outside.
In short, an excellent drama that I highly recommend!

A great main lead for Kachine

If you like Kachine you will love this drama where he plays a young cook and incidentally a cat-type boyfriend (really too adorable) the chemistry is crazy between them, really the intimate scenes are worth the detour. It was a drama romance / cuisine quite simple but original. The fact that the two leads travel the Chinese countryside with this old pink van had a lot of charm. I really liked this little drama and I sincerely advise it

Ils sont vraiment adorables

This drama is special. He may not have had the TTEOTM promo but he is unforgettable. The characters have a real development, their alchemy together is sublime. The music is perfect. There is a lot of emotion in the game of YE and NEO, I love them together. History proves that love can be destructive but also restorative. I loved the atmosphere, humor, and morality of the story. It's a great drama!!!!! I advise you if you have that the story is centered on the main couple. There are not many secondary characters and their screen time is limited and that is rare too;

BEST CDRAMA OFFICE ROMANCE

OF COURSE I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO IT BECAUSE CHEN XINGXU IS MY FAVORITE ACTOR. HOWEVER, THE 36 EPISODES AND THE BACKGROUND THEME "LAW" SCARED ME A LITTLE. FINALLY, I DIDN'T GET BORED FOR A SINGLE SECOND! THE BEGINNING IS VERY CRACKING BECAUSE CXX IS EXPRESSIVE AND DESPITE HIS LACK OF SMILE, HE ALWAYS MANAGES TO MAKE US UNDERSTAND WHAT HE HAS IN MIND. THE DRAMA IS FUNNY, BENEVOLENT, THERE ARE CASES OF VERY INTERESTING AND ENGAGING RIGHTS. THE RHYTHM OF THE DRAMA IS GOOD. CHEN YAO IS ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE SHE IS A PERFECT GIRL THAT I SAW GROW UP FROM THE GIRL AT THE FEET OF HER BOSS TO THE INDEPENDENT GIRL WHO ASSERTS HERSELF.

EVERYONE HAS BENEFITED FROM AN EVOLUTION. THE ROMANCE ARRIVES LATE BUT AS A RESULT IT IS UNCOMFOLDED. ON THE PROGRAM OF SMALL SWEET MOMENTS BUT NOTHING "HOT" THEY ARE A PERFECT AND BENEVOLENT COUPLE AND THEY COMPLEMENT EACH OTHER TO PERFECTION. I LOVED THE OST EVEN IF THERE WERE NOT ENOUGH (2/3...) I HAD A GREAT TIME AND I WILL MISS THE HUMAN WARMTH OF THE EVEN SECONDARY PROTAGONISTS BECAUSE I WAS ATTACHED TO EVERYONE. IT IS GENERALLY AN OFFICE ROMANCE WITHOUT FAIL. EXCEPT THAT WE DIDN'T HAVE THE MARRIAGE WE WERE WAITING FOR! THIS IS MY FIRST FAVORITE OF 2024!

BEST HISTORICAL CHINESE EVER !

I want to cry just to write this review. The Drama overwhelmed me with intense emotions at each episode whether it was joy, anxiety, fear, sadness. I was amazed by the exceptional quality of the special effects. The story has no respite, I did not find any useless length and each character is well developed. I like the chronology of the story and the fact that nothing is left to chance, we have all the answers to our questions. The romance between the two leads was solar and of ultimate confidence. The kind of solid relationship that can challenge everything together. One does not go into the other despite their various responsibilities and they have never been truly separated or far from the other for too long and that too was pleasant. I really liked the nice second leads also who all had their endearing personality regardless of their personal motivation. I had a preference for the world of immortals and mortals but paradise was not so bad also by knowing them all. In this Drama which is a masterpiece in my opinion that has very well respected the original novel work, I had my dose of everything: Beautiful romance, many kisses, avoided clichés, breathtaking fights, super OST (all great) captivating story with meaning to finish on a happy ending.

It's a Drama that I HIGHLY recommend because it's really a ref and one of my favorites now.
