i don't love the fact that they basically resolved the most important thing in the show OFF SCREEN in the last…
I feel like the whole two last episodes could have been skipped. Ep 10 had a perfectly fine ending. The only thing I liked from the extra ones was that Ju Ho Jin and Sin Ji Seon finally spoke and gave a proper ending to their feelings. But he whole 'your parents are alive but we let you believe that they died teehee' was a completely unhinged ep filler
Both FL and ML make continuously stupid choices, his bandmates keep lying, the ex is a psycho, the mother and the company head royal a*holes, the legal opposition fully corrupt... did I miss anything? Chung Jae is the only lovable character for me so far (I am on the 5th ep)
1. She killed herself when she thought that he was dead... 2. She did everything to bring him to the light shop3.…
I feel bad for both of them. Hyunmin also didn't deserve to be crippled, forget the one he loved and then be terrorized by her resentful ghost to the point of going crazy. It looked like he remembered her before leaving the Lightshop world but since memories are normally erased when leaving he forgot her again. In the end I think she appeared just as he was about to remember her again, but she has become a resentful ghost now so she will probably appear as a villain if there is season 2 :( I hope the mother gets some punishment in next season too cause what kind of person does that...
This has to be one of the very few Cdramas where the female characters are not obnoxious. Strong-willed, smart, loyal, respectful and even powerful. Even the princess that started immature and bratty had proper character development. Feel free to drop suggestions if you guys have seen other good series with nicely writen female characters
Smh why doesn't she just tell him the reason she needs the golden millet dream, he would understand.
Because he would actually give it to her, and he would betray the promise he gave to his master by doing it. Ming Yi didn't want to be the reason for that. It's still frustrating but kinda understandable too.
its not the necklace that smart gave him. its replica he made
Did they explain that or was it just assumed from what he said about the ring? He did say something like, even if you make a new one it will not feel the same way on you finger
I feel like I'm watching a different series than everyone else lol. I am actually enjoing the series and the person I find most frustrating is Ji Hun. What a royal idjit...
For one, I hated the obsession with blood ties and how everyone kept hurting Ju Won's dad's absolutely pure soul…
oh yes, I also would have liked a bit more depth to the mental health issues and ideally both of them acknowledging the abuse and getting some help in the end
Overall it was a solid family drama, that touched quite a few topics but it had also quite a few things that chipped…
For one, I hated the obsession with blood ties and how everyone kept hurting Ju Won's dad's absolutely pure soul with their words about his son over and over. I get that originally people might missundestand or find it weird to take a stranger's child into his home but you would think that after 10 -20 years of calling him his son and caring for him as such, even the d*mbest person would get it through their thick skull. Also Sanha's mom. That absolutely POS of a person. Oh the loathing I felt. The fact that she is never punished for her behavior and everyone keeps taking an imaginary higher road with her drove me insane. I hate when dramas do this thing where no matter how bad you are treated you should always be respectful and forgiving because 'family'. I wish they would start showing that it is ok to cut people off of your life, even when blood related, when they are horrible people to the core and only bring you misery. Then Kang Hae Jun's mom's explanation for why she abandoned her child and everyone just accepting it as good enough, like... what? I also didn't care about any of the romantic relatioships. Like not even one of them. On the other hand I absolutely loved the whole family dynamic. The kids loving and protecting each other, Ju Won's dad who was the absolute GOAT of this series basically adopting all of them including Sanha's dad, the relationship between the two dads and how they cared for their kids and pooled their resources and planned for their kids' futures. This series could have been an absolute gem if they had kept it as a purely family slice of life drama as there was almost zero chemistry between the couples and honestly no need, and had skipped all the toxic messages they passed through the relationship of Sanha and his mom, and the fact that Hae Jun's mom had to marry his dad before he finally felt like he was a true member of the family. The whole concept was supposed to be the family you choose can be better than the family you were born with (or at least that was what I expected) but in the end both boys never stopped running after their bio moms, and they had to force a marriage and a relationship into the story to make the family 'complete'. I know it is based on a Chinese drama (that I have not watched yet) and they might have wanted to not stray far from the original but I still think they missed a huge oportunity to make a one of kind story.
Overall it was a solid family drama, that touched quite a few topics but it had also quite a few things that chipped away at the story. Despite the rant below, I actually did enjoy it and would recommend watching as it had a lot of great scenes, topics, good acting and it did make me cry and smile a lot.
Another one who doesn't know the what real harassment is.Ha Ram isn't a criminal harasser and never was, I'll…
Also like I already said I only watched a couple of episodes so whatever happened later doesn't really matter to me. For the episodes I did see he kept disrespecting boundaries and causing discomfort

Disrespecting boundaries not present here? did we watch the same thing? This was all he was doing. Constantly touching and invading personal space although he was clearly told not to. I don't know a better word than harassment for this but if you do please share
