Apparently on Soompi they said he is gay and likes the ML, this was in his character description on Mbc website. It just freaked me out a bit when he said he doesnt mind dying together with Jang hyun, that felt like he is way past love, he is obsessed.

Atleast for me, i think its because the vibes are totally different, in Red sleeve, the beginning was quite light tilted more towards comedy, but for this one, since the beginning, there is a heavy war and upcoming tragedy vibe, so maybe thats why.

I think since only the FL remembers who they truly are, they wanted to use that so that she matures and falls in love with the ML, for the rest of the lives, each will probably have its own twists but will be much shorter obviously
