This is my 1st historical/Joseon drama that I have watched for more than 3-4 episodes. I binged over the weekend and loved the comedy. I love the mystery of the Watchman, the various court figures conspiring against each other (looking forward to Queen Consort downfall).

This is billed as a "comedy" and the director said that the 1st 8 episodes were intentionally comedic to balance out the tension/drama that will unfold, but if they kill off my favoritest character of all, then beware the venom of Kathryn51. 🤣"

Haha i wanted to read more about what people had to say about the show so i also checked dramabeans, but i totally forgot about reddit and when i saw your comment i Ran to it to read and i must say at this point lets just create a Shi-yeol Fan club so if they dare do stg to him they will definetly regret it hhhh. Kang Hoon is really amazing and i hope we see more of him this week than the we did in the last one.

I think that if it was a stuntman they wouldnt have shown his face and hid it like they did with Shi-yeol in ep 7. Fingers crossed its ANYBODY but Shi-yeol !🤞🤞

I also rewatched that scene many times and even compared screenshots of the watchman's eyes with Shi-yeol ( yes, its that important to me hhh ) and its not him, but maybe its like his younger version, still, i hope its not him but the dates are messed up in this drama so we will have to wait and hope they leave him alone.

They always do this in dramas, as long as the main couple get their happy ending, no one else matters, but not in this one , not only me, i have seen many people who's favourite is Shi Yeol and the way he deserves happiness both he and Hong ju, so if they make them suffer, as another person said in the comments, my rating would be in the basement !

As long as i can remember it was always 18 episodes

Wont spoil you but lets go with the three male leads and the FL.
Yes, between the FL and two ML but the third side barely has a chance cause the couple is truly in love.
What i would say is give it a try and avoid mdl as much as you can cause the comments spoil most of the fun . Please watch it if you can you wont regret, and if you do , make sure to give me ur feedback . Take care !

As of ep 12 nothing about them is shown more than what we saw in ep 11, we just hope that they and Shi Yeol get the happy ending they deserve!

Ohh! I actually like them in those attires, but much, much more when its down ( which mostly bodyguards in sageuk have, and that headband 🤌) but yes there isnt much choice in sageuk as there is in historical cdramas, but maybe thats because no one wants or dare to risk a high budget for stg never made before in kdrama.

I kinda get it! Because i love watching dramas but i have a favourite genre ( which is historical as you can see) and there arent as much as you may think specially korean ones, for chinese its mostly a romantic drama and i dont like romance that much so at the end i dont have Many choices, but again this is just me cause indeed dramaworld is a hella big world hhh.

If you want stg to watch between new episodes, definetly check kdrama The secret romantic guesthouse, it is sooo good and tge suspense is 🤌🤌. But if you wanna check it on mdl be careful there are spoilers in the comments sadly when the real fun is in guessing who's who

Finally someone spoke about him! NBY is truly so loyal and mature and there you have TTJ who leaves a country After War because of one woman! Either way i truly hope NBY didnt die because i enjoy watching him so much!
