I REALLY enjoyed the Taiwanese version, as well. I like this version, but my favorite is the Chinese version. The leads play in several series together, so their chemistry, IMO, is so VERY GOOD.

I was thinking the same thing about that scene. It will be very interesting to see how this plays out...and how painful that fall might be for him.

I see your point. It's an old fashion trope, in a sense. However, I believe we will see him hit rock bottom and realize she is his ladder and lifeline, and not the other way around. It's story building, and I hope they do it well.

The "tough love' troupe is one that can be controversial...as we see here. Whether FLs need this or that...in the end, it's really up to the viewer to decide if they like it or not.

I do wonder about some of his reasoning. I can understand it but absolutely agree it needs to be fleshed out more.

I know some viewers are hating the ML, but I sort of see where this is going. I have to tell a story...so bear with me.

The ML reminds me SO MUCH of my Army drill sergeants. I had FOUR, but one in particular. Drill Sergeant H (DSH) was one of the most intimidating men I'd ever met. On one of the coldest, wettest, most miserable nights, my platoon was assigned a task. With our fingers numb, and our bodies shivering, we were screamed at constantly. "Hurry Up!" "You're moving like pond water!" There's more, but I'll keep this post respectful.

Anyway, the next night, I had to pull guard duty, and was asked to deliver something to DSH who was also on duty. When walking toward the duty office, I heard him talking to another DS about the night before. His voice was soft and endearing. "God, I felt so bad for them, but they endured it. We've trained them well."

I know this is a drama and an absolutely different scenario; however, I can see the efforts the ML is making trying to help the FL survive in a world he feels will swallow her alive. I also see how he's conflicted on whether to shield her (keep as his secretary) or let her go and support her secretly. This might be a very unpopular opinion, so please go easy on me in the comments.

I'm 100% in agreement. Loved her so much in Paen Rai Long Tai Wa rak. So disppointed she isn't a FL in anything else.

Really...one of the prettiest and most talented actresses in Thai dramas.

Love both leads in this...hopefully it will be subbed somewhere.

This has to be one of the few dramas I didn’t fast forward through scenes. The love between the leads seemed so real and genuine. Both actors did justice to their characters. Like a great book, this series will haunt and comfort me at the same time.

The way he tickles her, too. So darn affectionately adorable.

Even without subtitles, I can see EP 17 is going to break my heart.

And, her bedside manners are atrocious.

Thanks. I thought I read somewhere where it wasn't. I mostly trust the synopsis; however, I've been fooled a couple of times, not many, but enough to make me HAVE to ask.

For those who have read the novel, can you SPOIL me and let me know if there is a happy ending for the leads? The preview in for EP 12 gave me heart palpitations...even though I know it was as dream.

One of my favorite characters in My Dear Destiny. Which he would pick up a Main Role.

During the scene where Cha Sung Hoon was chasing after the perv/pert, I kept waiting for him to rip open his button down to reveal a big "S" underneath. LOVING this secondary couple.
