I agree. I told a coworker who watched a few episodes. She loved it so much, and we can't stop talking about the ML and the chemistry between the leads. It truly is about preference.

To me, this has a Love Under Power feel. Another new series with a strong female is Moonshine (Korean), although it has some mixed reviews. It is a lilittle gritty which sort of reminds me of the American Wild West shows. There are some LOL moments which I’ve enjoyed.

Do you think with Jeremy being 36, they needed an older actress to play opposite him? I don’t enjoy where there is 15 yr age gap. I wanted to like Cupid’s Kitchen, but dropped because of the age gap between the actors. Just my personal preference. Also, maybe I’m being too simplistic in my thinking. Agree, the sister fits her age well.

I've watched actresses in dramas (Korean, Thai, Taiwanese, Chinese, Japanese) where their expressions and actions are so deadpan. To me, the FL in this series is refreshing to watch with various expressions (silly, angry, sarcastic, compassionate), especially with dealing with the snarky ML. I believe they did a good job casting her opposite Jeremy Tsui.

Oh...I haven't noticed or haven't minded the FL's dubbing voice at all. What I can't tolerate in dubbing (and have dropped shows because of it) is when they dub the fake crying and whining that doesn't match the FL.

The hilarious and snarky expressions the ML gives to the FL's antics leave me craving the next episode. At my age, I can't afford to wish for days to pass quickly...but, I REALLY want Saturday to get here fast. Loving the chemistry between the leads so much (their BTS together is ADORABLE!) Also, I find the ML's voice to be captivating and swooning.

Wow! Just...WOW!! They couldn't have put together a better cast than what I've seen so far in this series. I don't think there is another actor who could pull off the sexy snarkiness of the ML like Jeremy Tsui. He is brilliant in this role. His facial expressions to some of the FL's antics are hilarious! I'm also LOVING the FL who is no pushover. She refuses to lay down and take her fate, all the while, entangling the ML at every turn. I hope the perfect formula of a witty and engaging story line doesn't change. It's perfect right now.

Totally agree! I've mentioned this in an earlier post but the female characters remind of the women portrayed in some American Western series I've watched and liked.

Luo Zheng has to be one of my top 10 favorite Chinese actors to watch. There is a sexiness that is undeniable. Every lead he plays makes me think he's fallen madly in love with the FL. His kissing scenes never leave room for doubt. I hope to see him in more lead roles, and maybe playing opposite his FL from Cry Me a River of Stars again. I absolutely adored their chemistry.

I believe Push did a great job trying to redeem his character after making the fatal relationship mistake. If Praomook took more time to make Lan do the same amount of groveling, I would have rated this series much higher

For someone who likes to watch American frontier movies/shows (like When Calls the Heart, Young Guns, Dr. Quinn), this series really gives me that Western show vibe. I'm really loving it. Despite what a few have said, I'm liking the chemistry between the leads. There is enough sweet awkwardness and cautious tension to make me root for a happily ever after for them.

I want so much to see him as a ML in a fantasy / romance series. He was so charming and sexy in Lost Romance.
