Never seen a show fall off so badly. Many episodes felt like they wanted to continue the show to hit the 36-episode mark; and don’t get me started on the editing.
Anytime I see, “it’s like John Wick, but Korean,” I roll my eyes, because one of the inspirations for JW was the Korean noir film, “The Man from Nowhere” (2010) 🙄
I totally loved and enjoyed this show from start to finish, especially how the flash backs were woven into the story. Glad the ending wasn’t rushed and we went through all the emotional rollercoaster/push-n-pull with them. You can tell this drama was made with tenderness, sincerity and love. If you’re still considering watching this, just dive in - it’s absolutely amazing and worth the watch!
Maybe I watch more Japanese TV but I'd say the opposite, he's been perfect and she's over acting. She's unnatural,…
They are simply playing the characters in the book. Yuno is meant to be more conservative than Beni, and Beni is the one always very excited.
You see the change in their performance when they were younger versus when they were older, especially with Beni, so it has nothing to do with acting skills but the characters they play.
It’s also to depict the difference in culture between Japan and Korea.
