I think I have to put more effort into wording my comments, as you drew totally the wrong conclusion. I watched this BECAUSE of the bromance tag. I WANTED bromance. And then I was dissapointed becaus I didn't get enough of it. In my book, they were just good friends. you are right about the chemistry. every time they have one of those one-on-one fighting scenes, it looks like they are milliseconds before kissing. but then they get this hole penetration thing all wrong and use their swords instead of ... maybe that was meant as a methaphor by the creators?
it is often surprising how many reviewers (and i assume large portions of the audience) just can't see the gay subtext in those bromance stories. i won't accept that it is just wishful thinking on my part ... :)
