Well, I didn't notice anyone named Miao Tong in the donghua. Maybe she is mentioned in the novel? (Haven't read the novel yet, so I can't tell.) If it's not, then I think there would be a change in the story.

Just finished the donghua; it was amazing! The stories were also wholesome. So, I hope this live adaptation will be awesome too.
