What happened to Fujiyama Saburo? (the older guy who talked with Bang Je soo in s2) They confirmed his death, but expect if I missed something it wasn't revealed how and why he died.
This show really has some issue with its logic and characters.I don't know if the police in Korea is really stupid…
The brother was jealous, he wanted to gain his fathers adoration and approval as the father only showed interest for the younger brother. Because of this he was blind to see what his father really was and it took time for him to realise this. The problem I had with it is that they placed him with his father in the same prison instead of separating them and giving him psychiatric counseling, which was what he needed. Instead his father could just continue brainwashing and pushing his son to become like him. Also for some reason he went to prison for 8-9 years instead of 3 (basically just because of the plot).
The other guy was just a crazy fan and a copycat, unfortunately serial killers do get a lot of these crazy fans. Like the obsession and the attraction the woman had for him is called "hybristophilia", sexual attraction to those who commit crimes. These women will write love letters to serial killers and think they are able to change them.
I am 1000 percent sure that if characters are reversed and ml commits such crime,fl would end up with other guy…
People aren't saying that she didn't do anything wrong, just that she wasn't the reason why Bok Soo got ruined. It's questionable if it would have mattered much if she defended him or if she lied (because in the end she only told what she heard and saw). The main culprint here is Se Ho's psychopath mother who needed Bok Soo as a scapegoat to cover up her son's suicide attempt.
Your last remark doesn't really make sense as most people here blame Se Ho's mother as the main culprint who's a woman (obviously), so I don't see what you mean with gender bias.

Yes indeed it's Se Ho's psychopath mother who ruined Bok Soo to cover up her son's attempted suicide. Soo Jung only told the truth that she didn't see anything (of course she was wrong in this). And I've my doubts that it would have mattered much if she had defended him instead.

Well its an R-rated drama and some episodes are 19+ rated, but its from TvN so a lot of the gore is censored. I see you watched Squid Game, so if you were ok with that this should normally be ok also. But I would say try the first ep, its the scariest one, so if you're ok with it then you will be ok with the rest of the drama.

Of course its not completely the same, if Ha Young hadn't caught the real killer the boyfriend of the first victim would have been in prison for much longer, which would be much worse if the truth eventually came out after many years. But still Dae Woong also could have developed a grudge towards Ha Young for bringing him into trouble. So in contrast to Bong Shik he became a better person.
To give a spotlight to some side characters, it was quite interesting to see the contrast between Kim Bong Shik (Seo Dong Gab) and Park Dae Woong (Jung Man Shik). They are both very flawed characters who did something wrong and got to pay for it, but they act on it in very different ways. Bong Shik, the corrupt cop, develops a grudge against Song Ha Young for exposing him instead of realizing his mistakes. He basically stays the same which eventually again leads to his downfall. Dae Woong on the other hand realizes he did something wrong by forcing someone to make a false confession. Instead of being angry at Ha Young for catching the real killer he tries to become a better policeman and even starts to admire him.

The guy in the operation room at the end is a cameo by kpop idol Kim Yo-han. The police confiscated the video tape of the brain transplant, so it likely means that the government is continuing experimenting with it. Also do watch "Mouse: The Last" if you haven't, the alternate ending at the end hints even more at the possibility of a second season.
