I think you nailed it. really want to like this show. And I’m actually kind of enjoying it despite glacial pace…
Very insightful This story is like a rough treatment that went to production without an actual script. His boyfriend was not dead and he did not choose to go back in time, he simply arrived there. The character’s primary motivation was ill defined or perhaps not even defined And if we assume he went back to make sure his younger self would never meet his soul mate, why did he then write that note to leave with the video store owner. I could go on and on asking question after question, but why bother because the people behind the show failed task those very questions and went straight to production without having a story
The guy who showed up at the hostel at the end was played by Mix Sahaphap Wongratch. He is 1/2 of another popular…
Oh that was Mix. Thank you. I’m very familiar with the pairing and the shows you mentioned. In fact Thousand Stars and Moonlight Chicken are in my personal BL Hall of Fame It seemed like a purposeful choice.
Well, these dudes ARE pretty to look at. They could just think their lines and as long as their shirts are off, I’d be fine with that. Yaoi-mime, and send the writers back to the Dinosaur Love set where their sills belong.
I just checked the cast and crew listed for this series and noticed something for the first time that might explain…
I think you nailed it. really want to like this show. And I’m actually kind of enjoying it despite glacial pace and so many missed opportunities for it to have been so much better, but I think your catch makes a whole lot of sense. Literary writing gives characters the chance to share their inner voice and screen plays need to draw out characters through interaction and story telling. They are quite separate crafts. Still, I’ll keep showing up rooting for this one even though deep down I know it’s missed its chance.
One show that pulled off a literary BL stream of consciousness bL story line was Eternal Yesterday. This series could have learned from the people who made that one.
I liked the ending. No “by your side forever” BL storybook bs for all of the characters at least That was very unGMMTV.like in a good way. The actors playing Nick and Boston deserve lead roles in the future. Their ending was my fav. Real and honest. One question was the dude who showed up to the Hostel a cameo that called back to another GMmTV show.? I got the feeling the writers were saying meet the new Boston. Wondering if the actor played a toxic character in a past show. I’ve seen most but not all .
I guess a lot of people here simply aren't much interested in this genre (I noticed that darker dramas usually…
I could not agree more with these comments. This show was teeth grinding and great. Here in the states, it just dropped on an obscure pay channel. I hope I don’t have to wait for season two since it looks like this has been out for quite a while
Wow. The Superhero thing is not my genre. It got oversaturated here in the states. This is so NOT that. Well written, well acted, and always surprising and unpredictable. Filled with great character development to go along with A level stunts and action. A pleasant surprise, and half way through the season, Moving is in the running to be my favorite Kdrama of the year. I’ve avoided comments to give the series a fair shake but it has a lot to pull together for a satisfying finale. Fans of relentless action my be disappointed. This one is striking more of a balance.

yoooo why are the police so smart,???? like been watchingn tons of investigative kdramas and other series that…
Did you notice the “Trust the Police” lines embedded throughout. That’s so opposite almost cops, are portrayed on US TV. Like in Korea, even the best and most heroic are portrayed with flaws or are corrupt.
What an amazing series, it is so addictive it only took me 2 days to watch it, I've loved every single aspect…
You made my day. There’s a season 2. Yay! That’s awesome. Your review is spot on. This show and Someday or Some Way are quite possibly my fave dramas ever as good or better than the best I’ve seen in the states
Been months since I watched it. Still one of my favorite dramas ever.
I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. In addition to the leads and mask guy, I thought the actors who played the cops were truly outstanding. In addition to the senior detective the woman who played the station commander was excellent. Understated and believable. I can’t get any of my friends here in the states to watch it. Their aversion to subtitles costs them in my opinion.
