I find this story exceptional. Not much happens yet so much happens. Ep 9 left me feeling pure joy.

I agree with you about the quality,acting production and writing. even as the fourth or fifth story about non genetically related pseudo siblings falling for each other I’ve seen, it’s so well done I don’t mind the familiar trope

Loving the JBLs this year. in general, the quality of BLs in the second half of 2024 is far better than the first half. I can only take so many “100% Fluffy til episode 11 storylines”. I appreciate stirring the pot with both cute and toxic to keep things interesting.

it was great as far as BLa go. one of my favs of the year. needed a break from plotless cute. this was predictable buts nasty and so well acted. Yuki!

just binged it and I think was a better viewing experience than a week to week watch. Yuki’s character rose above the rest. hard to look away from those expressive eyes.

I agree. He stole the show. A very solid performance.

I really thought this was very well done. A serious Japanese BL well acted and well produced even if the story is one we’ve seen before.

Interestingly, I think the other story that could be interesting is the High School President. He seems to have a strong moral compass, but the game was reset without focusing on what it meant to have him as the sould survivor. It's clear he was oblivious to the bullying, but the parents don't seem to offer a hall pass for ignorance so to speak.

Yup. I tell my non-MDL friends that "I gotta go watch my violent Korean show, I think self-immolation in the gym is tonights episode. Just so you don't think I'm totally depraved, I balanced with "When I Fly to You" before "Night Has Come" (one of the most romantic TV series I've ever seen) and "Twinking Watermelon" -- a show that put the biggest smile on my face ever. I finally finished that one last week. So, don't file me away in the sicko-folder. And I got to hand it to you for sticking with it, despite its triggering features. Meanwhile...have a happy New Year. And I'll look forward to meeting with uou in the Weak Hero Class 2 MDL section sometime next year.

I loved it too. Then again I loved the series about the forced harvesting of organs as well. Bargain. Between that and this one where teenagers bash each other’s brains in with fire extinguishers I think it’s time for a three day psych hold. Good theory. Somewhat predictable ending, but still enjoyable. The good news is, it would appear that given the popularity they’ll be a season two escape from Sim.

So who’s more sadistic than the students? The parents.! It appears that night will come in season 2 as well based on that rinse repeat ending. . Somewhat predictable end but I enjoyed the story. And I’ll be back to see how they escape from the sim.

The neutered snoozefest is aptly put. Ha ha. I think the show is brought down by the weak bottom. Not the character, the actor. OK the character too. Though I have no idea if the actors a bottom,, I wouldn’t care one way the other if you know what I mean, . And it’s not because he’s a bottom. The boy just can’t act And that “I am pit babes. Boy” line is obviously written by some pederast on the writing staff OK with that out-of-the-way It’s actually a pretty decent central mystery Here we are multiple episodes in and and I still can’t figure out why he and his brother have infiltrated the pit babe gang. Then again maybe neither can the writers. Because they’re starting to Snoozefest me too.

I’m o ly 3 eps into the Sign. They just got out of the police Academy. But so far I’m very impressed with a combination of budget, acting and story Plus, the main couple is cute.

My Love Mixup is one of my favorite Japanese, BL of all time as is Cherry magic Japanese version Even though I’ve always liked Tay and New , for some reason I can’t bring myself to watch it because of my love for the original …..probably not fair . I just don’t need a another version of an already perfectly told story

I know I’m rambling. Apparently that’s what I do on MDL. I think it was you who busted me for that But you’re in for a treat for last twilight. Not to get your adrenaline rush fix. But for a really well written story, as well acted for my money as any BL out of Thailand, Moonlight chicken and I Told Sunset level acting. One of the best of the year if not the best Now it could pull a bad buddy And after five episodes of greatness to turn into acute and cuddle fest with no more plot So just remember I can leave out for the first five episodes I haven’t seen Linger because I’m struggling to find it in an uncut form . But until I do, so far I think this one, the eighth sense Moonlight, and Love Class 2 are my other Top BLs Ok. Only friends too. Clearly, I like Sexual train wreck shows I’m sure I’m forgetting something. I didn’t see the time travel show because I’m still pissed at him for being homophobic I know I shouldn’t let my bias get in the way of Art OK I’m making your eyes bleed. So I’ll peace out.

Playboy the Series is Amber. And I love this horrible sweet mess of a show. And I love Last Twilight for balance
