Good news,The conflict with MiaoMiao's wedding will most likely finish on tmr's episode, 20. IT IS NOT A LOVE…
Yea, that part was really sad. :(
However, I still think you should watch the episodes (or at least ep 19) after tmr's episodes release because the show really pushes (in ep 19) to let the audience know that MiaoMiao does, in fact, feel the same way about ZiQi but is somewhat fighting with the bracelet's control, bc she knows she's missing something, which I think would make episode 20 sweeter!
it's not a love triangle, according to the statue that the maid was talking to, the wooden bracelet that the prince plans to give to her has a spell on it that is undetectable by demon hunters. In the trailer, the bracelet was on her hand when she "proposed".
It definitely seems out of character for her to suddenly all be happy after being rejected and propose to someone else, when the show has made it a point from the episodes building up to it that she DOES in fact like ZiQi and that she is very in touch with her emotions.
Even one of the actors made a post stating that there is no love triangle to ensure the audience! Please stick on. I also HATE love triangles with a burning passion. Trust me on this. Its a misunderstanding.
I think what will happen is that she will break out of the bracelet's spell herself or Ziqi will discover and try to help her. Maybe even a combo, where she breaks out of the spell but Ziqi will also come help. Which is when we see her in the red wedding dress and she hugs him.
This misunderstanding and conflict should not last for more than 3-4 episodes. They release 2 episodes until the end of the weekend, it should be resolved by then.
The statue that the princesses maid was talking to mentioned that the wooden bracelet contains a powerful spell undetectable by demon hunters. I think miaomiao will be under that spell. I dont think the misunderstanding will last more than 3-4 episodes. Either it gets resolved by miaomiao's own will bc she loves ziqi OR ziqi will end uo finding out and saving her. OR it could be a mash up of both together!
So I was looking at some of the BTS and Trailers, and there was a section where she is wearing all red (which we can all assume is wedding attire) and she was running. I think she perhaps got mind controlled, something to do with the corruption of the royal family maybe? Because in another scene with the red attire, she hugged/embraced him while the dream catcher that he recently got was in his hand to show her.
My hypothesis is that she was mind controlled or something of the sort, I think which lead her to propose to the marquis. She seemed WAY to happy after being rejected.. it doesn't seem like her. I think he ends up finding out and saving her from the marriage.
Oh my god. Their body language, eye contact, THE CHEMISTRY!!! It's just oozing out of my screen, the amount of chemistry they have is so cute!!! Esther Yu and Ryan Ding are both so good at acting and make an amazing on-screen pair. I've seen their other drama, Moonlight, but I still would love to see more of them together! They have my giggling with my feet in the air LOL!
I really really really really liked that the system did not force Miaomiao to flirt with Fuyi. That was my biggest…
I also really like that it did not force MiaoMiao to flirt with Fuyi!! Yea I do enjoy the bits of jealousy, I think it is something we will get to see in the next coming episodes (I saw in ep 14 teaser )!!
I have never been so OBSESSED with a show. I've been eagerly staying up late, until 2:00 am, just to watch the episodes. :')
I've read the novel and the manga, there are some changes in the drama, but I'd say that I think the change is good and prefer it! In the novel, he was more Yandere, but I'm glad they made him more tsundere! It's better if he treats the girl he loves with respect and kindness even though he pretends to be mean than the abuse/cruelty as a yandere!
Esther Yu is soo cute!!! She fits this role sooo well, I enjoy her ability to switch from from playful acting to a more serious one when the scene requires it. I've watched many of her shows (possibly even all), I got to say this one is my favorite work!
Ding Yuxi is top-notch with his acting. I think the term is micro-acting or micro-expressions. HE SO RIDICULOUSLY good at it. The ability to act with his eyes and make minor facial expression/movements that convey a lot of emotion. I also watched a lot of his work and this has always been something he exceeds at, I think it got better!
The two of them have top notch chemistry and I'm soo excited for more.
