OK you get news her heart as stopped - presumably there was some delay there. Then you waste time talking crap instead of immediately taking action during which another 70 or so seconds pass. "Running out of time!" NO EFFIN S*** SHERLOCK.
You now actually have about 30 seconds of your "2 minutes" left to save your insane wife.
What the ACTUAL...
Then Miyoshi is it? - says "2 minutes" while injecting Arisu with the heart-stop serum after wasting most of the survival window.
Do you do math?
I get it - dramatic license, right? We see it all the time in shows and films. But this is next level. Next level BS. It's not even that dramatic - they are remarkably measured and show a muted sense of urgency.
I hope to read the novel after this 'ends', as I'm assuming there's no way the story can be told in 30 episodes. I'm curious: how close is this in terms of general structure and flow to the novel?
Absolute disgrace how awful the English-speaking cast are. Absolutely inexcusable and ignorant from the production team. They had the cash. S-grade clownmanship.
It honestly infuriates me how often we get beautifully made C-dramas completely ruined by terrible script writing. The…
I understand the criticisms, except this production is mediocre in many areas so I have far more criticisms than you do, seeing many things being a far cry from "enormous effort, craftmanship". But is a frustration with the writing over a 4-episode span worthy of a 1-star rating? Why so? Seems quite all or nothing.
I agree with your comments on the FL. For some reason, her performance here is well below what she can do, and…
Because the acting and dubbing is poorly matched (along with your point on the tunnel visioning on plot at expense of character building, which is why I wish this was 50+ episodes).
Perhaps you've locked onto a key point. Don't dismiss your concern or let other comments fob you off.
Have you finished this drama. If you have then it should be blatantly obvious what I'm getting at. Their concern and questioning shouldn't be dismissed. They should certainly keep questioning.
I expected a much higher rating, but as we know, the main lead is Xiao Zhan, so the haters have really been working…
Why would you expect a much higher rating on Douban? It's not like MDL where 100s of dramas ranging from mediocre to excellent anyway are only discerned across a narrow range of about 0.7 points.
This drama needed 3-5 more episodes to fully flesh out everything. Dumb 40 episode rule.🤦🏾♀️
I agree. Actually I'd have preferred it to be between 50 and 60. I think this would have benefitted the wellroundedness of the presentation of human condition and made the drama less cutthroat and clinical. However, perhaps some of the thrilling pacing would have been lost. Either way, I wanted more episodes and at times slightly more breathing room for the pacing where we could have seen more personal interractions, where the drama could have better conveyed the sense of growth in the ML, something which is stated but often not actually shown.

But this was my least appreciated Namkoong Min performance to date (out of five in total).
Utter Trash.
I just can't understand it. What a shame.
And what a magical power to have.
Anyway, I enjoyed it.
