In general, if there was a show exposing het drama toxicity the difference would be it wouldnt be isolated on het couples and dramas but instead on the idustry as a whole. Because Bl is a certain genra almost in these dramas, making a show exposing the bl drama industry isolates that genra, instead of focusing on the entertainment industry as a whole. There lies the issue to me. People will find any way to use the messages in this drama to isolate an issue specifically with gay dramas and fuel more homophobic debate. Really i think the drama should have gone into hrt toxicity too as to encompass the darkness in the entertainment world without midtakenly isolating gay dramas as being bad.
