Ive seen your other comments so i know you love this show because you have stated such. You ignore its issues by coming afyer this person who is stating there is issues with the show regarding non consent scenes. By disregarding and demeaning this persons comments you are showing support for these actions of non consent. Your comment was hostile and i believe even you see that since you said i was coming to the rescue of the orignial commentor- implying there was something to be rescued from. Whitening and spray tans can be considered colorism. Theres a long standing of colorism in asia too where they make fun of people for being darker skin, so yeah its a known and common issue. You can like something and still address its issues, for example i liked tharntype but i acknowledge it has a multitude of issues. You shouldnt have attacked them for having issues with valid problems of tge show. Just say yeah there are issues, so i can understand your opinion but in my opinion i still enjoy the show or something like that.

Just because you love this doesnt mean you have to ignore its issues and be rude about it to people who dont.

In general, if there was a show exposing het drama toxicity the difference would be it wouldnt be isolated on het couples and dramas but instead on the idustry as a whole. Because Bl is a certain genra almost in these dramas, making a show exposing the bl drama industry isolates that genra, instead of focusing on the entertainment industry as a whole. There lies the issue to me. People will find any way to use the messages in this drama to isolate an issue specifically with gay dramas and fuel more homophobic debate. Really i think the drama should have gone into hrt toxicity too as to encompass the darkness in the entertainment world without midtakenly isolating gay dramas as being bad.

My main issue with the message of this show is that it seems to isolate bl dramas as being toxic. Its not anything about bl dramas, its the entertainment industry in general. Be it het or bl there can be toxisity behind the scenes. Just remember this and dont drag something just because its bl.
