I don't know why some people lowballed their reviews of this so badly.Maybe it had something to do with the fact…
The leads arent really at fault. The manhwa itself is boring and draggy with BOTH leads being toxic in their own special way. Doha is too clingy and needy, and in love with Wooyeing who is CLEARLY emotionally unavailable and in love with someone he can never get. Wooyeong keeps leading Doha on, because he wants to TRY moving on (not really helped by the fact the teacher treats him "special". Teacher isn't romantically interested, bu t he does act shady around Wooyeong). Doha is the kind of person who thinks he can "change Wooyeong's mind" then gets upset and pissed because Wooyeong is not working on HIS schedule and taking too long to move from his crush.
It just wasn't a very good manhwa to adapt when there are others which are clearly way better. Waiting for Heesu in Class 2.
I was bored most of the time... In my opinion, it was way too slow but some people like that type of series so…
I like slow build, but this isn't it. One guy was moving too fast, the other wasn't really invested. It felt like watching a one-sided trainwreck in action.
I just say that whenever a series includes a separation because of overseas studies or work, I'll drop the rating.…
I don't mind that trope because sometimes u need to separate to grow, and it's not everyone always ends up together with their high-school crush/love. Sometimes, u need to explore the world before finding your way back home. But the trope has to be done right. In most cases, it sn't
Yes, very disappointing, didn’t find the two leads have any major chemistry at all, they really don’t fit…
I nevr liked the manhwa for the same reason. Doha was toxic af. and Wooyeong was wishy-washy. And I keep confusing this with that OTHER manhwa with the same plot where ML's friend ends up with teacher in the sequel.
Thank you. Everyone is shitting on Wooyeong but Doha is more toxic. He knew the guy was emotionally unavailable, still got together with him. Then suddenly left him high and dry
Well said..(People only used to spoon-feed explanation..They don't understand contextual layers..)Until ep 12…
Muscle Bottoms are literally my life blood. Of course I love a matching Top (Est's CP with Meen in LBC2 was absolute perfection, still salty about the lost opportunities) but there are plenty of BLs with smaller/leaner Tops.
Some actors were literally 1-2-3-4-5-ing their way through the dramas. At times it's SO obvious that they are being lazy af. I guess the VAs got tired of doing all the work but not getting credited for it. Like, it's only recently that we have started adding dubbing/VA cast to the cast lists on MDL.
Also, it just increases the production cost for no reason, since dubbing for their role is part of the casting package. I guess exceptions can be made if they are using another language or dialect which the actor isn't familiar or comfortable with. For eg, in First Shot, they should have dubbed Ziqi's Cantonese lines, since he was clearly struggling with the native Huazhou accent.
Through episode one. I will continue. Too early but I wonder if we are getting set up for a THE FIRST SHOT (2024)…
I feel it's more Under the Skin dynamic than First Shot. The leads have some past beef re: elder brother, but it's not serious or important enough to matter.
I was gonna ask the same thing. I'm not very interested in first couple, so I wanna skip and go straight for Yo/Gun.
Honestly, I prefered that dynamic in Enchante (bottom is the cool, popular, top is cheerful, que sera sera) better. I feel like Book doesn't really know how to act like a lovable puppy so he just goes ham on it. It would be kinda interesting if both are calm and silent for a change (looking at you Melody of Secrets)
Same. From the title, I thought he would be one of the "simulation boyfriends" (the earlier article said "she…
You say that like it's a bad thing. Also, it's no secret that it's the 2nd. I am pretty open about the fact that I live and work in my family-owned cat shelter. I am currently in bed surrounded by 5? cats and 2 dogs.
