1) You're assuming this is either character's first attraction to a man. There's nothing to say it is. And their…
This is also why Heon was accepting of Eunho's interest in him, and Geum acted more like a jealous boyfriend than someone who was just concerned about his charge.

First love means that it might be the first time they wanted to date or settle with that person, it doesn't mean they never had sex or sexual thoughts ever, since in Joseon era, men Heon's age (he is what 18-19?) would married and had their own family by now. Eunho is a 19-yr high schooler in modern era, he probably had his gay panic and acceptance long back.

Not everyone experiences gay panic. Heon and Geum are being hunted and on the run. It's very much hinted that they are more than bodyguard and employer (sharing a bed, hair combing). There is no question that if Crown Prince was free to live, he would have gotten married to a woman arranged by the royal family, and Geum would have used the excuse of being the King's guard to stay single and by his side. The WIFE, as was the culture and norm, would have had a couple kids with her husband, then she take her place as the Legal Wife/Madam of the household and stop giving a crap what her husband got to with his male bodyguard (as long as he did it discreetly). [If Prince was having affairs with other woman, they would simply be added to his harem]

You forget that ancient civilizations were a lot freer about sexuality, mainly because for them marriage was about power alliances and forwarding the family line, not about love. An aristocratic man having multiple partners was not only common, it was the norm - and he may or may not even have a male lover on the side - as long as he married the right woman. Soldiers fooled around and "got relief" together, young women fooled around with each other, it's wasn't considered as "sex" sex because that was reserved between husband and wife. It only became a problem when they refused to comply with society's norms, and marry and have children.

This generally pertains to non-european civilizations since europe was a lot more...prudish... due to influnce of Christianity and the Church, which saw anything sexual as a taboo/sin.

which one is ML and which one is MC? 🤔
Eunho is MC, Heon is ML

Sorry for asking this (I value this shit a lot in dramas) but who's the top..?
Heon is the bottom. Eunho and Geum are tops. If Eunho and Geum are smashing each other, I expect them to take turns.

Year 4 of asking for a 3P sequel. This is one of the very few romcoms, let alone a bl, where not only do I not mind a love triangle, I am actively rooting for the 3P. They all loved and cared for each other, and we know they all met in the future. So, why don't we have an SOL sequel yet, where Heon is a famous painter, Eunho is a well-known upcoming artist, and Geum is the hot guy who stands around looking pretty and gets pampered by both of them (as he rightfully deserves)

didn't think I'd ever watch season 2 and neither say what I wanna say right now: s2 is better than s1 and I think…
Honestly, if they ever end up making the 3rd season (which I highly doubt since it's 3 years now) but I kinda want that soulmate/non-soulmate trope like Shounen no Kyoukai or Kanawanu Koi. Do u choose your soulmate or do u choose your love inspite of having a soulmate.

Is this a BL then?? Because the synopsis sounds like this drama is a BL
It is a gender-bender. It's classified as shoujo on bato, and bl on mangadex. I haven't read it but even if it's a bl, I wouldn't be surprised if they tweak the ending to make it straight (since it's the same person). The cast is too mainstream to act in bl.

Edit: NVM, NOT bl. The ML learns to love/accept FL in a male body, but she turns back into female at the end. It's some family curse (to make sure the man is a soulmate who loves HER and not just her body, or something)

Hey! It is the 'side couple' from Guardian (Goblin)! Is this like one of their reincarnations? ;D Let me pretend…
This is actually adapted from a novel/webtoon called Touch Your Heart and is a standalone. But... If u see the very last scenes of Goblin, which is practically the epilogue... in third life, GR and Sunny end up in this EXACT scenario. She is an actress playing a cop, and he is a cop who is hired by the production as a "consultant" for her show, and they end up together.

And here, she is an actress playing a lawyer, who has to work with an actual lawyer (ML) to prep for her role. And while it wasn't explicitly said so, I have a feeling that these actors were specially cast because of their characters' similarities with Goblin's, because Goblin was BIG deal. (It's a starter k-drama for almost an entire generation of international fans, just like BOF. I was introduced to kdramas by BOF in college, but I didn't really care for them until I saw Goblin, it's technically my starter kdrama as well).

So, yeah, you can basically think of this as a sequel/spin-off of GR/Sunny.

I agree with you that it sucks the Korean entertainment industry is so focused on hiring idols with large fan…
I meant influencer influencer. Post some song/dance covers on tiktok or insta, do a few make-up tutorials, make some fitness videos, sell some healthifying tea, buy a few thousand likes and followers, and voila! a modelling contract. I admire the grit and hustle, but... But.

Eh, but that's the unfortunate reality. Faces sell, talent doesn't. That's why nepokids are all the rage these days. And while some are actually talented and put in the effort for the gifts/benefits they have been given, most just coast along on their social media following, courtesy of their famous surnames

Wow, it’s impressive how you’ve got this whole 'I know what’s best for everyone' thing down. Jisoo’s not…
"just enjoy Seo In Guk and let Jisoo do her thing" that may have worked for BP, but that really doesn't work for dramas or movies. the on-screen couple has to be in HARMONY, something a BP fan probably wont understand.

anyways, if the on-screen couple are not in harmony, script and direction aside, it will tank the drama because the chemistry of the leads is what SELLS the show. Even if the story and production is crap, but the leads are compatible and have decent enough chemistry, then people are gonna enjoy the show. If ur fav wants to grow from an idol to an actor, she needs to be MORE than "doing her own thing". And if u really wanted or cared enough for her success, you wouldn't be here defending her half-assed attempts.

as someone who has been watching hindi movies since the 90s, it's the ultimate main hero entry. Leave it alone,…
Oh, wrong thread, lol. But whatever. I got tired of the ML being the hero (in the first 3-4?) eps I watched, performing everything from triage to transplants - former army medic doing emergency surgeries on low budget? fine. The biggest antagonist is the literal asshole specialist? And why is colorectal so prominent anyways, when neuro, cardio, pediatrics are just sitting on their butts doing nothing and being bitchy like desi aunties at a kitty party. And of course, the deus ex machina - hero's patient needs a transplant, the donor just happens to be his own brain dead father who was on the donor list. Corrupt doctor is trying to expose the doctor - his daughter just happens to end on up hero's table, and he is the only one who can save her.

I gave up at the point. Even Grey's Anatomy had better plot.

Doesn't work
The site doesn't work. What are they gonna get tricked by. Also, don't parents these days teach their kids about internet safety? I admit my childhood was a LONG time ago, but back in 90s and early 2000s, even my analog parents knew better than to let us trust strangers on the net.
