It's a mystery thriller. Bromance, yes, but WOH and this fall under different genres. Also WOH was adapted from a BL, this is friendship/bromance even in the novel.

Personally, I think they changed some pairings (I haven't read the novel, but it feels they made a few changes)... But I prefer the drama ships 🤷🤷

I wasn't a fan of OG either. Esp when his motives were revealed. Kinda felt preachy and boring. Yes, I know that IS the moral, but it feels like a some boomer sat and wrote a story about Gen Z being trigger happy and cons of social media.
