I doubt I will. I'll probably stick to the shows that might on the face of it have a simpler plot, but that execute it in a much more effective way, like Bad Buddy.
I'm not really feeling the social commentary here. First of all, it's way too on-the-nose. That rap song was so…
Same here. Sadly I just dropped this show. The political commentary is there, but it's done in a very shallow way. The romance is there (apparently), but it's only half-baked. It makes me sad because I love OffGun (especially Gun) but man, do they get subpar scripts to work with (Theory of love is abysmal, IMO)
I mean not everyone is homophobic thank god😭💀besides that they already have like 1.000 things to deal with…
Yes, but being worried about their child is something a parent does on a regular basis, for many different reasons. That wouldn't justify calling a chill reaction to learning their child is gay not realistic. If it happens to some people, then it is realistic.

I think you might have a biased and stereotypical view of parents. I am a 30-year-old man from Brazil and I came out to my parents 15 years ago (Brazil = an underdeveloped Christian country and I came out in 2006, which is a long time ago already) and my parents had a pretty chill reaction. They were a bit confused at first, but there was no anger, no backlash. If that happened to me that long ago, I can imagine that nowadays this kind of chill reaction is a bit more common.
To me EP. 10 is the best episode so far. The story moved at a very appropriate pace, there were some sub-plots that were neatly interwoven with the main plot, the episode was cute, romantic, funny and dramatic without feeling forced or rushed. Wow, what a great series, I wasn't expecting much before it aired but it's giving me everything I didn't even know I needed. Kudos to everyone involved.
Its called consent. Pran will do what he is comfortable with. Who are you to decide anything. Also liking men…
Except no one was invalidating anyone just like the other post you reacted in the same passive aggressive way when no one said that outing someone is ok. You just take things out of context, interpret in your own sick little way and start attacking people like an angry bulldog. Stop embarrassing yourself.

The biggest difference is that the original poster and I have given multiple arguments to support what we're saying. The only thing you do to support your POV is be aggressive and try to gaslight other people. So maybe you shoud get off the internet if the only way you know how to discuss an issue is to be a brainless bully.

Not only were you wrong but you were excessively aggressive when you replied to the oringinal post. Either you are a very young child with a lot of maturing to do or you certainly act like one.

You seem to be missing the point and getting offended by something that no one has said. Yes, bisexuality is a thing, but so is homosexuality. And like I said, in a universe about men loving men, you'd think that people would celebrate homosexuality more often than avoid mentioning it.

Honestly, in BL's it is a bit of a trope, yes. Because how many characters can you think of that actually use the word gay to refer to themselves? I can only think of Tharn from Tharntype and Pete from Love by chance. They're always very vague about sexuality (I like guys / I only like you / etc.) and for a universe that revolves around men falling in love with other men, it is a bit weird how they avoid the word gay as if it were something negative so, in this specific scenario, I agree with the original post in the sense that they use these lines to avoid using the word gay.
I'm with you all on this episode. The first two parts were AMAZING. The last two parts were... weird. But still overall one of the best shows GMMTV has ever put out and it's clear to see that when it jokes with the negative stereotypes that other shows have used (I'm not gay I only like you / husband and wife thing, etc). Definitely this show is a huge step in the right direction.
Are these numbers below or above average compared to other popular BL shows?
Thank you so much for the kind reply and I'm glad BB is doing well because it is certainly one of the best BL Thailand has ever released (so far, at least)
I'm loving everything about these last couple of episodes but please writers of Bad Buddy tell me who the hell is playing Kwan in the play. This question has been lingering in my mind for too long now LOL
Aoki really pissed me off in these final episodes and the writing seemed to be a bit all over the place. First he was mad because he thought Ida wasn't taking their relationship seriously, then he got mad because Ida was taking it too seriously by sharing it with other people. Man, come on, Ida is trying, cut him some slack.
OK, I'll admit I wasn't a huge fan of last episode's twist of Pat liking Ink but this episode gave me everything I needed and more. Plus that kiss was definitely one of the best in BL history hands down. Kudos to the show for not dragging that Pat crush on Ink too long and for making Ink a lovable and understanding character and not your regular girl enemy bullcrap.
but here is not typical trope ... pat is not confused ... they have a lot of things between them ... their families…
I get all that and that's exactly my point. Why include a girl in the middle of them? Don't they have enough obstacles? Why does every story have to have a girl to create hurdles between the leads? It's almost like all these shows follow a similar formula.
Sadly I just dropped this show.
