The kid who plays the young doctor is working hard this year. First Bad Buddy, then Cutie Pie and now this one LOL. Seriously I will watch this because I really like the shows from this studio but I have a feeling after the first episode that this will be just good but not great.
Seriously how many more times will Mork realize he likes Tawan? Every episode he forgets that he'd already reached that conclusion in the previous episode. LOL
I pretty much share the same opinions from the majority of the people below: - this show gets more and more boring after each episode - Hia is extremely unlikeable and unrelatable - Kuea is more infantilized than an actual child - the leads' relationship is weird, to say the least - the side couple's relationship is even worse - this show is pretty much a bunch of fan service scenes embedded in a story (and I use the word story very loosely here) - the actor who plays Kuea is an actual good singer (good not only by BL standards, good for real) - the songs are great, the covers were really well chosen (I'm obsessed with the song Change at the moment) - I'm gonna finish watching it because I HATE dropping things in the middle, but so help me God (I'm not religious, just a figure of speech) sit through 7 more episodes of this show
Y'all really need to stop using words like 'toxic' and 'unhealthy' at every single thing you wish people didn't…
Calling someone unhealthy or toxic is hardly an opinion. It's judgement. Maye you should learn the difference. You are not exempt from making similar mistakes and I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate being labeled as toxic if that weren't really the case.
These couples are all in unhealthy relationships. They are all obsessed and codependent to each other with thoughts…
Y'all really need to stop using words like 'toxic' and 'unhealthy' at every single thing you wish people didn't do or that you would personally have done differently. These words mean something and using them inadvertently makes them lose the power and seriousness they carry. People make mistakes when they are in relationships, they're not unhealthy unless they keep making the same mistake or showing no regret about it. Absolutely no character in this series is toxic, they feel bad and remorseful about their bad decisions (that was the whole arch with Thorn in ep. 11), they care about other people's feelings (like Vee denying himself the chance to love because he cares about his sister), they learn from their mistakes (look how much more caring Fah is now compared to the first couple of episodes). You need to stop this overexaggeration and pseudo activism, it does no good to anyone.
Some people just go to some lenghts to justify the unjustifiable. The premise of the show is bad. The execution…
It doesn't matter why the kisses happed - they don't happen in the novel (not until they switch back), which means the producers deliberately included the one thing that people were adamant about not wanting to see. And that's just lame. You can try to make all the excuses in your head as you like, but people are completely entitled to feeling iffy about this body swap done wrong, you'll just have to learn how to deal with different opinions when this show goes to Youtube (cause many people will probably object to the same things), and you seem to struggle with that.
Some people just go to some lenghts to justify the unjustifiable. The premise of the show is bad. The execution…
As a matter of fact I have so, joke's on you, I guess. Maybe you shouldn't make assumptions about people and accept that they have different views from yours. It's not like anyone is offending you, people are just manifesting (valid) points about a TV show. It's not that serious.
The people bending over backwards to defend this are so funny. They keep moving the goalpost all the time to be…
Some people just go to some lenghts to justify the unjustifiable. The premise of the show is bad. The execution is not great either. All the points you made are extremely valid and have been the concern of EarthMix fans since details of the show came forward. Knowing that they actually went for and added all the things people were adamant about NOT wanting to see is just aggravating and people are entitled to feel like that. I'll continue to support EarthMix (specially IRL - they are so cute together). but this show is a big no no for me and for many other people, which is totally justifiable and totally within our right.
Yap. 😂😂 And there is nothing wrong with him making out with a girl ....
It's not about the fact that it's a girl, it's about the fact that he's making out with someone who is NOT the person he likes. Sexuality has nothing to do with it. It's just weird. The fact that he sees Win but he's not really being intimate with him is stupid as hell. The fact that it's a girl while this is supposed to be a BL series just makes it even worse, but that's not the original problem to begin with.
I don't think this show is as bad as people are making it out to be in the comments. Surely it's far from great, but I can think of far worse shows by GMMTV like Tonhon Chonlatee for instance. Enchante is not AWFUL, it's just a bit bland.
Any tips on how to forget that it's Lin's body walking around? I just can't ignore it. The scene where Korn massages…
It's weird af. No matter how much people don't want to admit it, it's a bit uncomfortable to watch someone being 'intimate' with the image of the person they like but someone else's body. No, just no. That's not cute at all.
I can't believe a K-drama made me shed a little tear LOL. I wasn't too invested in this show in the first couple of episodes, but boy am I glad I kept watching it because the second half of this show was absolute fire. The ending was so sweet but not over-the-top. I was surprised by how much I ended up liking this show.
I actually thought this was the best of the Korean BLs that have been released recently. The others have doses of humor that just I just don't find funny. This one doesn't try to be funny so I like it.
This series is growing on me. Not because of the writing in particular, but the abundance of likeable characters. Saen is adorable, so is Aii. Vee and Dome exude sexual tension and have so far the most intriguing storyline. I love Vee, I think he's my favorite character and I relate to him a lot. Thorn is starting to get more likeable and relatable. The only one I still haven't been able to connect with yet is Fah, I kind of ship Thorn with his brother at the moment lol.
EP. 11 was the absolute worst by far wasn't it? Gosh I could barely focus on the screen because I was so bored and uninterested. The best thing was the cameo appearance from the Lovely Writer guy. I hope the final episode is much better, because I do want to like this show.
Loved the last episode. I love that its a very different BL show, however, for me it is still moving at a very…
I completely agree. I had dropped the show after the 3rd episode but so many people raved about the 7th one so I decided to catch up on it. The problem I have with this show is exactly that. I command the show for bringing politics into the mix but it's done very superficially like many people pointed out. It's very preachy in the sense that rich=bad / poor=good, like it was trying to teach some values to a very young audience. We know how the world works, but how bad is this Tawi guy exactly? What is this group of teenagers' end game targeting him? How much good do they expect to be doing? It doesn't help much either that the romance bit is that slow. I find it funny that people say that this show is not for people who like fluff when it has the exact same amount of fluff as any other 'non-political' BL: the longing gazes, the accidental touching, the having to share a bed together, the I-love-you-after-I-just-saw-you - it's all there, all the tropes that all the other BLs use. I think with this show the concept is slightly better than the execution. To me it feels like a juvenile approach to a serious topic, which is at least a commendable attempt, like I said before. And I find it interesting that if you see the statistics of this show, you'll see that the ratings drop with the age of the audience. I guess teenagers and younger adults are sometimes a bit too easily impressed with the premises of the plot and don't have the maturity and experience to notice the glaring flaws of its execution. That being said, I love Gun, though. I might finish watching this in support of him. And I did like the parade bit overall, it's high time GMMTV shows started aiming at a more positive queer representation, so I will give this show points for that.
