I dropped this after 9. There’s something wrong with either the dramas or me, they just aren’t piquing my…
I am too going through something similar, it's just that while dramas do pique my interest but a couple of episodes in I realise they are not for me! Nothing sticks. I guess we evolve the more we consume
Waited to start this until it’s nearly finished. Would you recommend it or not?
It's not one of those dramas where one can easily say if it's worth watching or not. This one depends a lot on the viewer and what they are looking for. For me, I found both the leads to operate between being boring and annoying or sometimes being both. But then the drama has other characters with dynamic personalities and relationships that are interesting to watch. Though the most fun is delivered by the villain. She is so selfish and self absorbed that it's almost ridiculous! Plus I loved the performance of the actress. So it's not entirely a bad or a good kdrama.
So if you decide to watch it, I would suggest to be patient with the first quarter of the drama, because the drama takes its time to settle to a rhythm.
I don't get the criticism or the "fear" of a bad adaptation. Yes, the webtoon is good and entertaining,…
The webtoon was entertaining for sure, but that's all it was , a fluffy simple story. Although I have seen drama writers make entertaining dramas from even lesser quality of webtoons, so we will know when it is released. The weight of expectations about how a drama will or should be often diminishes its ability to be judged on its own terms, even before the first episode airs. That is my humble opinion.
I think Eun Oh will be one to force herself to redeem herself. None of her kids has the guts to stand up to her.…
The writer has made her selfish and cunning to the very core. Not once she was shown to be worried for her son. No she is instead worried of what his impending death would lead her to loose. I don't think there's anything that could justify it if she gets her redemption.
But some family dramas do tend to redeem their villains. I hope that doesn't happen here.
I just know Seong Jae's dad will end up in a hospital when he finds out what his wife that he loved and trusted…
There's no escaping it. Honestly that's better than not knowing! Plus Seong Jae's father needs that shock, he has suprisingly been blind towards a lot of things happening around him
Hmmmmm Ep 31 preview! So what if Eun Oh finds out that she was indeed abandoned? So what if she finds out her…
It is really appalling that Seong Jae who seems to gauge the step mom so well cannot see predicament of his own young sister despite living in the same house.
I really hope writer would use this to give him emotional development. The character has potential but it would all depend on the writing.
The show better give us a proper downfall of the step mother. After having to watch all that scheming, I cannot accept any redemption arc, especially last minute ones.
I guess by that logic, squid games is a rip off of Death race. Or squid game is a rip off Alice in borderland.…
You went to their profile to check before commenting? Wow! I don't know whether to be creeped out or be jealous of all the time you have in your hands!

It was what charmed me to watch these long dramas.
But do keep your tissues nearby though
