Isn't the romance progressing faster than the usual kdramas? Not that I am complaining, I am just used the familiar beats of the romances in kdramas. Any-which-ways, the drama is fun.
Literally no one is talking about the story. Everyone’s focused on reviews and ratings. Yeah, some people don’t…
First of all thank you for saying that. You articulated it better than I could have.
As you said, MDL is a place to put one's opinion respectfully, whatever that be. It's so basic but shocking that it had to be reminded that art and taste are subjective. One cannot expect everyone to like what they do or hate what they hate. If one does that then honestly they are the issue.
Now I have only watched the first episode and while it's too early to judge, it has piqued enough of my interest to carry on. And the biggest plus aside from the Uncontrollably Fond reunion is that the series is absolutely stunning to look at
WHY DO U KDRAMAS HAVE TRANS CHARACTERS WHEN YALL CANT DO THEM JUSTICE???ugh the angst i had watching ep 6, it…
What is shocking even more is that the creators saw the original and said - "yes we want recreate the same!" The adaptation suffers from the same problem as the original.
This makes me think that perhaps prejudices at the ground level might still be the same as it was a decade ago, for the creators to not even flinch before enacting the same portrayal.
It's not about hate. These are things that should be explored when you are putting your characters out there.
The original series glossed over these things. But the kdrama can explore these. It will give both more depth to characters and more food for thought to us. Kthrillers have done this before beautifully.
Honestly hiding something that big from someone you want to build a future with is just wrong. At least he shouldn't…
Exactly. He robbed her of that very choice. Choosing to marry someone related to a criminal vs finding out one fine day that the person you married in good faith is related to someone capable of heinous things are two very different things.
A drama with Park Hyung Sik and Seo In Guk ends up with 6.9 with most comments unanimously agreeing? I don't know how I feel about this. I did watched the first episode which can be called mediocre at best. I want to love this drama but I know I won't. Comments here corroborates that. What a missed potential
I haven't watched many 50+ episodes long weekend dramas but the ones I did watch had multiple couples. And I do find that very charming. But this one doesn't seem like that.
Moreover it seems like it's going to be a love triangle. I could be wrong but I have a feeling that I am not.
I really wanted to watch Yoon Hyun Min after so long but watching a love triangle for 50 hours isn't my thing.
I really hope writers don't drag the triangle but resolve it early. I think I am going to wait before I decide whether to give it a try.
I suggest something lighter. This one is quite heavy and even a little depressing. I loved Reset!Maybe you could…
Oh? I had no I idea. Romcom, costume and fantasy 😶 neither sound like me. I actually was hoping to hook into chinese thrillers. Do they really not exist?
