1- I eat meat and 2- my reaction wasn’t because she did it to survive, it was that she did it with a malicious smile on her face as revenge towards the pets owner. She knew it was a beloved pet and did it with malicious joy, not survival. But if I offended you, my apologies. ✋🤚

Of course I can distinguish between actor and character. I’m obviously talking about the character…Geezus, mydramalist is a harsh place to post a semi-unserious comment without being criticized, shamed or ridiculed, for fork sake.

Yeah, Earth’s acting is…making me feel embarrassed watching him. I feel like I’m watching a 3rd grader sitting with his 1st crush in the sandbox. It’s completely inappropriate for a college age romance. Is this some weird fetish romance drama? I’m just confused and embarrassed, I guess.

I’m really glad they put in the script Gina telling Khing “I’m exhausted”.

Coercive control relationships whether platonic or romantic leave the victims feeling mentally and emotionally exhausted. These kind of relationships can also change the way your brain functions and leave you with lasting, sometimes permanent damage to your mental health. The damage is much more severe if the victim is a child or young adult with a still developing brain.

Exactly. That was a very good example of emotional manipulation and coercion. Now Gina thinks she needs to get results or she’s going to lose them friend “benefits’. She’ll take bigger risks now to gain those “benefits” while turning the people pleasing Khing up to an insincere overly dramatic 10.

She absolutely is. She’s the covert, manipulating, triangulating, emotionally coercing friend. She’s pulling her “friend’s” strings while Gina gets all the consequences for plotting schemes. Gina doesn’t even realize she’s being manipulated because all she can see are the benefits she gets from being Khing’s “friend”. They deserve each other.

Yeah, this just got weird. I did NOT realize whatshisface is 16 and other whatshisface is 28…really?!?! Who-tf thought that would be a good idea. Add in the confusing editing and you’ve got a hot mess. I started episode 6 and thought…did I miss an episode. I had to go back to the end of episode 5 to see if I remembered seeing it and I wasn’t crazy…screw them for making me feel both crazy and grossed out in episode 6…I mean, 16 years old!!!!! I am not gonna watch them pretend to commit a crime by faking a relationship between a grown ass man almost in his 30’s and a 16 year old underage boy.

Why oh why do they have to write one of the characters as being unbelievably afraid of the dark. Did I maybe miss a trauma for Ai and why he’s terrified of the dark? I can just never take it seriously, especially if they’re only writing it in so one lead can take on a caretaker role. It always feels comically fake to me.

Look, I’ve apologized and edited the comment. But queer fashion is absolutely a thing and I just used the word gay instead of queer. What makes something derogatory is how it’s being used. If a bigoted troll is using it to show disgust or contempt towards the LGBTQ+ community, THAT would be derogatory…as a member of the lgbtq+ community, I do not feel disgust or contempt for the people in my own community. If you need further clarification on what makes something derogatory, Google can assist you.

I can see how the term “Gay fashion” could be derogatory if used in a sentence that implies disgust but my statement was “I usually love gay fashion”. The intention of the words were endearment and not derogatory. I usually love the fashion in the Thai BL dramas I’m addicted to and just noticed these high waisted, wide legged pants the ML’s were wearing in the last few dramas that I watched. (Love by the Sea - Tongrak, and this drama). Again, I apologize if I offended anyone. It sincerely wasn’t my intention.

Are To and Bing together? As the paranormal “expert” I’m surprised Bing becomes a mental case after a day or two and can’t take it anymore. I’m also surprised at the level of anger To has towards Bing after his swift mental break. It just seems like an illogical 0 to 60 on multiple fronts with this duo.

Just one correction. This drama was filmed in Taiwan, not Thailand. And I agree, both Thailand (Thai) and Taiwan are on a different level with BL skinship compared to Korean dramas. Taiwan has been ahead for awhile with BL skinship though. Taiwan has actually had gay marriage legal since 2019 and now Thailand just celebrated legalization of gay marriage this year. Apologies for turning my comment into a fun fact for gay marriage in Asian countries.

I should really stop starting my Thai shows when the first episode drops…I feel both stupid and frustrated now that I have to wait a week for each episode to drop. It’s the most vicious of cycles that I inflict on myself.

You could be right about that. It was the only description I could think of for fashion in the BL dramas that I love watching. If I offended anyone, I’m really sorry.
