Same! I can't believe they're going to drag this on for another 3-4 more episodes. I have a feeling LQ will find out the truth sometime soon and by then it'll be too late. How annoying. But I felt so bad when LQ stepmom was getting all emotional when she was arguing with his dad.

At this point, I'm only watching it for ZSX and to just find out how bad/good an ending this show has. lol I've come this far.

So 5 years pass and the empress is still scheming, but at least BN doesn’t look so awkward when LQ tries to be intimate with her 🤭 but also confused..I thought they consummated ages ago? Why was it implied it was their first time during his birthday?

Exactly! I’m sure she has her own motives and I wonder if Zizan originally had the same intentions and the two eventually have the same fate of falling in love with him. That’ll be weird.. like both sisters for the same man. 😂

I just hope Haishi doesn’t get dragged into it unnecessarily. 😭

But I’m still weirded out with the whole Baixi thing. I mean there’s brotherhood and then there’s this. Like all just because he cause the death of the empress? But I suppose if you have mermaids, this shouldn’t surprise me.

I’m so glad they finally explained the connection between the emperor and the shifu. 😂 am I the only one that thinks it’s weird or are plots like this kinda common for wuxia dramas? I haven’t seen anything like it but I’m guessing this whole master/deciple relationship ends all the same with them not being able to be together? I’m starting to think all the cute CP scenes we see in the trailers are her imagination/dreams.

Also what’s the deal with Tilan and the emperor, I get he hates her now but does he eventually grow feelings for her? Does it say in the novel? But he eventually falls for Haishi, so how does this work? 🙈

I'm so blown away with the cgi for this show. only 3 episodes in but I'm loving the vibe. Has anyone read the book? I'm now curious who the ML is as it shows he's somewhat connected to the emperor but I want to know how LOL. Are they binded somehow? When the emperor broke the cup, FZ's hand bled. So...what's the connection?

I like that it’s a bit different, I get that the story plot might be a bit of a mess but I don’t mind it.

Is it weird that I’m only watching it cause the ML looks good with his hair like that? 😂 def more my style. I’m only on episode 6 and I’m finding it ok but from what I’ve read with the reviews it’s a bit of a mix. Does it have a happy ending?

Episode 24 finally felt like there was more substance to the plot (to me at least), I assume it’s confirmed LQ and BN finally consummated? But I’m a little confused given next week’s trailers about her being poisoned.

Also, am I the only one that enjoyed the story on Dongdong and her mum? 😆 like I found that so relatable-I mean the whole defying the mother thing and then actually trying to win her affection. 😂

But someone please tell me when MR gets kicked out!! 😒
