Omg I just saw them. 😭😭 we’re going to be in for a hell of a week! Though I'm kind of happy that it's ending. I hate having to wait for episodes to be released each week and I've been trying to watch like 4 shows at the same time. lol.

Many people didn’t like that line “I am ready” in the drama…was that in the novel? I can’t recall…Anyway…
Coming from someone who didn't like that line either, I wanted to say that I didn't get it until someone here had to explain the scene to me. I discussed it earlier, but I think the director could have filmed that scene a lot better. It's one thing about being open and creative and leaving the audience to piece your ideas togethers, but you also need to understand that not everyone would have understood that scene properly - so he should have considered that. First of all, there could have been SOOO many other choices of words, but the fact that he chose 'I am ready' and followed it by a scene of him having sex with her, it's not difficult for people to misunderstand the overall situation.
They could have done a close up, where he says to her 'I am ready', and if she had to look confused then have him follow by saying something along the lines of 'for kids' or something and then proceed to a slow mo of them consummating. Like, it's not hard, is all I'm saying. In a lot of the scenes in the show, it just felt like they were lazy to elaborate on some things that could have made their scene so much better.
I mean if we're going to put it in the context of reality - the conversation of wanting kids between couples isn't a light topic and most often is continuous conversation for months or years. I know so many people including myself that wouldn't have found this situation realistic. Like if I were in bed after my partner turned me down and then he suddenly comes in and was like 'I'm ready', I (and this is very personal) would be like ready for what? How? What's our plan? I'd want to talk it out, not have sex and potentially get pregnant and then have to have the conversation later.
@Wang Xian, If this is a realistic relationship of only getting to know your partner after you get married, then I'm sorry. lol. I don't know what your foundation of your relationship is built on. But it's not for the most of us. But we get it, it's a show, so we don't take things to the heart.
