I just like to watch Japanese drama haha. Its cool that you are curious about their acting style instead of just dismissing it as "bad" , like quite a few other ppl I have came across. Its just a cultural thing

I think its because Japanese acting style evolves from theatre, so actions/expressions are more exaggerated. But this drama is very uniquely Japanese acting and humour. There are plenty of other dramas that have more mainstream acting style

Im glad you liked the series cause I really loved it! The story is quite fast-paced and hence lots of emotional progression relies heavily on non-verbal expressions, even very subtle ones. So many ppl tend to miss these non verbal expressions and end up not really understanding what the story is trying to tell, but once you get it, I think its a really nice and emotional story :)

Glad you like it because it's my favorite series :) and yes this series has unique Japanese humour and acting style, but that's just their culture. I absolutely hate it when their acting is said to be bad just because it's because it's a different style from usual..I thik the acting is great and this series and the actors won several awards for this too
