Disney only got Snowdrop from JTBC for now. Mostly of JTBC dramas still go to Netflix. We still dont know until the future comes and prove what we said. Yeah, just hope they can release ALL the korean dramas worldwide. Plus, Disney better air the kdramas live as the on going shows globally. Thats the key of popularity of dramas. Why Netflix can reach this stage? Because they dominated the korean market and release it as on going shows in many countries.
tvN still signed the contact with Netflix and other streaming platforms like IQiyi and VIU. Jtbc also mostly signed the contract with Netflix. I hope it wont change and Disney will keep the competition healthy. Actually i prefer Netflix over Disney, why? Because their branch is larger and korean drama contents are all available in many countries and ofc western region. Idk why Disney wont add korean drama in western region. Western region only have Snowdrop. And thats why many people against Disney. Plus, we hardly see the hype over Disney korean drama because its only available in selected asian countries. I have no problem with Disney, but it affect the popularity that the drama deserved in the first place.
Not really. Netflix still dominated the most top korean shows and on going shows as we see now. Connect is Disney originals like Grid and Rookie cops. So its not associated with any tv network in Korea.
LOL LIKE I SAID BEFORE. Disney+ always buy the license in silence ~
Nooooo. Its Disney who offered the exclusive contract. Same like Netflix who got exclusive deals for many studio dragons drama. And exclusive license is equals to very very expensive prices. I believe there is many streaming platforms who can airing kbs2 drama. Like "Crazy Love", iQiyi got it first, but Disney snatched the license with make a deal with kbs2. So IQiyi didnt get the chance to air it as on going shows because the exclusive contract of Disney. Thats why so many people hate disney coz if they take the drama, it wont show up in other platforms. Similar like Netflix did. So its NOT a cheap one.
LOL i am educated enough no need to get another education. Hey, if you wanna attack someone, then u need to understand the context it first. Its a SATIRE statement. U know that? I know the difference between animal abuse and eating meat on purpose. No need to get lesson about it. But people keep asking about cancel the show and suddenly become social justice warrior about animal abuse without considering how much the amount of money and hard work the people inside the production gave to the show. They also attack people who watched the show as inhumane people. Someone also said to stop all historical genre because of this accident and generalize all historical productions are same like that. So, dont attack me without knowing the context. Goodbye, I am done.
LOL LIKE I SAID BEFORE. Disney+ always buy the license in silence ~
Yep. I mentioned it before to a person below us. It looks like KBS2 got the exclusive deals with Disney. Since Crazy Love (at the first, its iQiyi who got the license) and Love All Play are airing in Disney. But she just shouted at me and said she wont accept it if its Disney LOL
Kdramaland explodes in alternate years, IMO. 2020 was one heck of a year for amazing kdramas, 2021 was okay, and…
You are right! 2016 was the best year for korean dramas. There is DOTS, Goblin, Uncontrollably fond, Scarlet Heart, Moonlight Drawn by Clouds, W two worlds, Kim Bok Joo, Legend of The Blue Sea, The K2, Romantic Doctor, Doctors, etc. For 2017 there is Strong Woman DoBongSoon and Fight For My Way. Btw, Crash Landing on You is 2020 or 2019 drama lol?
