Title Thirty-Nine
Okay. For honest opinion, this show is not definitely a gem. Dont get me wrong. I love slice of life genre. For example Homecha, Racket Boys, Dear my Friends, Because this is my first life, and etc. I even watched the most depressing one like Lost. But I always connect with many dramas I mentioned before. For thirty nine case, its like I am eating a very visual delicious food with its potential, but after I taste it, it feels so....bland. The drama plot is so damn dragging especially after two first episodes. Its not very very bad like people said actually. There is life lesson in every episodes. But its boring enough to press ff button and search for important scenes. I was crying while watching Dear My Friends. Because the story was touching me with life lesson aspect. There was a terminal disease plot also in DMF. But the story is growing on me. But its different with Thirty Nine. I just cant connect with it.

Maybe because of the same book writer. Both Luoyang and Longxi are from Ma Bo Yong's novel. Thats why iQiyi said…
Yes its so short. I also didnt believe it for the first time. But I think its a right amount for the episodes without dragging plot and filler scenes. BUT, please take a note, if the writer really arrange the original script as 24 episodes drama, its still okay, coz they will make sure in 24 ep, everything is explained, executed, and wrapped up. No cut here and there like the other drama (imperial age) to fullfil what the censorship wants. The upcoming other Ma Bo Yong's drama from iQiyi "Great Ming under Microscope" is 12 eps drama. Its really interesting story. And iQiyi produced it in shorter episodes.

IQIYI website promotes it to be aired on 27th April and said in the promotion ,, if you liked Louyang drama you…
Maybe because of the same book writer. Both Luoyang and Longxi are from Ma Bo Yong's novel. Thats why iQiyi said that. Ma Bo Yong's creation is a typical serious palace drama with politics and its stuff (for example Secret of Three Kingdoms, Longest day in ChangAn, Luoyang, Da Ming in Microscope, etc). But each of his story had different plot with different dynasties + historical approach. So its worth to try. No worries, everyone had their own preferences.

Two KBS2 dramas Crazy Love and Love All Play. Both dramas are picked by Disney+. No wonder people had feeling about this one also. Disney+ always buy the license in silence. Then boom. Its on Disney+. Like Love All Play before.

Wavve is korean platform. No eng sub there. International license is exclusively bought by Disney.
Nah, you are in US. Fortunately, there is Netflix, Viki and Kocowa there. But because of exclusive license, Viki or Netflix cant pursue the license for kdramas that had exclusive contract with Disney. Rookie cops, Grid and Soundtrack #1 also supposed to be aired after the whole episodes completed in US and Europe (like Snowdrop case). But look at Disney western region. They havent added them yet. So you watch Love All Play in dramacool? Btw do u have any news about Bloody Heart?

Yes its exclusive license. For on going shows, disney always did exclusive contract. Like "Crazy Love", iQiyi supposed to get the license to air the drama as iQiyi originals. But after Disney snatched the license, iQiyi cant air it anymore. It happened after Disney enter the korean market. I am wondering if Disney didnt enter the korean market, then we would get these dramas in other platforms like iQiyi, Viki, VIU, etc. Why so many people dont like Disney+ pick the kdramas? Because their strategy is weird, different with Netflix who released the kdramas globally, Disney only release kdramas in selected region of Asia. Western region until today only got Snowdrop as the only Kdrama in Disney+. You can imagine how many people in western region like US and Europe pissed off with what Disney is doing right now? Coz kdrama watchers in western are increasing and they also want to join the fun and enjoy the on going shows like Love All Play.

Don't believe in douban ratings..mostly haters are there
So its not have any score yet? Coz I thought the drama is good. Yes i know the douban had a lot of haters between fandoms. Especially if we have popular stars like Zhao Lu Si, Yang Yang, Dilraba, Gong Jun, Yang Zi, Cheng Yi, Yang Mi, Ren Jia Lun, Wang Yibo, Xiao Zhan, etc

So the series will be on hold for two weeks? I bet they are still filming around ep 11 - 16. It has been around…
Its very usual in kdrama land. For example, They usually shoot for 8-12 episodes first then air it (the number can be various). Its not exactly live shooting coz they have stock of episodes. But some of korean dramas also have pre-recording shooting. So it depends on the production teams of drama.
