Legend of Zang Hai is good, but still, there are so many other great Chinese dramas as well. For example Love Like The Galaxy, Story of Kunning Palace, Blossom, The Double, The Glory, Nirvana in Fire, Joy of Life, Kill Me Love Me, Wonderland of Love, Are You The One, The Rise of Ning, Blossoms in Adversity, Lost You Forever, Love of The Divine Tree, My Journey to You, Fangs of Fortune, The Prisoner of Beauty, and etc many more.

For me, NIF, Joy of Life, Story of Kunning Palace, Blossom, The Double, The Glory, Love Like The Galaxy, and Kill Me Love Me are still better than Legend of Zang Hai.

The Glory is a great revenge drama with dark vibes. It's even darker than The Double. They are female centric revenge dramas when NIF and Zang Hai are more male centric dramas. The revenge approaches are different for all dramas. But they are all great in their own way.

Maybe you should compare this one with The Double and The Glory. They are indeed revenge dramas. Nirvana in Fire is also revenge drama.

I don't think SOKP and Blossom are revenge dramas. They just wanna fix the past events and prevent the tragedies to happen in the second life.

TPOB is not the first one. The Double and The Glory also removed the Rebirth elements in drama version. That's because they want to approach something different. There are so many Rebirth dramas for both Full Length dramas and Short dramas nowadays.

GOTD combined the palace politics with fantasy and comedy. However, I still prefer to choose the serious palace politics dramas over comedy/parody genre.

Yes yes. I am so happy that all production teams hardworks are paid off. All shelved dramas are doing great.

I guess Tencent is waiting for the right time to release TGH atm. After the success of The Prisoner of Beauty, i am 100% sure that Tencent will release TGH soon to keep the high momentum.

The long shelved drama of iQiyi "The Comic Bang" (it was shelved because of japanese anime adaptations) will be released today (May 22).

So I can feel that TGH is really closer to their release date. Probably after TPOB is completed. Around june or july for summer slot.
