It's actually so balance. Similar like Love Like The Galaxy. There is family, romance, politics, friendship, etc. It brought me a good feeling when i was watching both of NLB n LLTG. Plus LLTG chemistry between Wu Lei and Zhao Lusi was burning my screen 😍
This UL censorship made me pissed off. The cut cut cut scenes made the chemistry is more bland than it should be. Some scenes disjointed with one and others. No wonder after ep 20, the rating keep going down because of dumb censorship.

Lol New Life Begins is more popular than Unchained Love in both China n International. It hit more than 10.000 heat index for iQiyi and the series are also trending in international including MDL n other sites. NLB was received so much love from both regions.
The most important thing, they didnt cut any scenes and the kisses + intimate scenes were still there. The story is so heartwarming and very good. It is a feeling good drama.

Some of hollywood CGI quality really depends on THE BUDGET. So there is a very good CGI vs very cheap CGI. But you cant ignore the very good CGI from hollywood movies just because one franchise like Star Wars is sucks. Everything is also depends on its budget. Plus You should see other space scifi dramas with high budget and proper production like Interstellar, Ad-astra, Gravity, The Martian, and etc. Dont generalize all space CGI from hollywood is like Star Wars. Everything is different depends on its budget n production style. Star Wars is basically fast food productions and its fantasy styling is more comical than "serious scifi movies".
Tencent is also like that. They had very good CGI vs not bad CGI vs poor crappy CGI. It depends on BUDGET. So, not everything from tencent is high budget. I can list so many poor/fake/crappy CGI from tencent dramas. Three Body is a super HIGH budget. That's why their CGI is good.
Like I said before, I am just being realistic without ignore the other facts. I love chinese shows + I agree with good CGI from three body. I think it is a great achievement from China. But it's better to not exaggerate things.

Everyone knows Hollywood is CGI specialist. Their CGI is another level already. For example Avatar 2. The CGI for Avatar is beyond the great. It's the best CGI ever exist. Plus, hollywood CGI about space, galaxy, planet, and scifi are not even a new thing. They are the expert because they did so many scifi movies with various themes and sub-genres. So the word "The only one in the world" for tencent actually is too exaggerated. Do you know some tencent dramas got crappy CGI, one of them is "My Deepest Dream"?
Dont get me wrong. I love asian dramas especially chinese and korean. But i never ignore the other facts. Every country got their own specialist. Chinese is specialist in historical and period costume drama with its various sub-genres like wuxia, xianxia, historical, etc. Korean is specialist in modern drama with its various genres like medical, thriller, romcom, investigations, laws, etc. And Hollywood got main specialist in CGI department. The world admitted their quality already.
Ah btw Marvel movies Ant-man is involving atomic/molecular world. So this is not the first time.

Yea the fighting scenes here are indeed so bad. They are too lazy to do real fighting scenes. They used too much slow-mo and CGI. Plus they want to avoid fighting scenes as many as possible. They used letters to talk about fighting scenes, the enemies suddenly retreat even before the fighting begin, and many more. They even just show us the noises from far place and some scenes only show the early phase of fighting then suddenly they cut it to result (who is the winner) in the end.
Listening Snow Tower got good fighting but not storyline. Not everyone can enjoy LST plot. It was so abstract in the beginning but become more clear in the end.
WRTW. I love their fighting scenes. Even though Zhao Lusi fighting got CGI white fabric, but at least they put the hardwork in the choreography and REAL fighting scenes. They didnt do extreme slow-mo ALL THE TIME. Zhao Lusi and Yang Yang even did most of the stunt with themselves. They still provide decent fighting scenes with speed and power. WRTW also didnt AVOID fighting scenes with letters or fighting noises from far place like SSS did.
Condor Heroes Trilogy is legend stories. It has many remakes and adaptations. Some remakes are great. From example Return of Condor Heroes 2006 (Liu Yi Fei, Huang Xiao Ming), Legend of Condor Heroes 2017 (Yang Xu Wen, Li Yi Tong), Heavenly Sword and Dragon Flying Sabre 2019 (Joseph Zeng, Chen Yu Qi).
Like I said, I enjoyed SSS stories and elements. But not fighting scenes. It was obvious that SSS want to avoid the fighting scenes. Some fightings got cut in early stage/phase really quick then suddenly they showed the result who was the winner. The other scenes are over slow-mo or they used too much CGI with flying swords and etc.
In the end of my OPINIONS, you can disagree with me. But we should respect each other opinions. Not everyone is enjoying slow-mo lazy fighting scenes. The opinions here also various. There was some ppl who said the same thing like i did. They thought the fighting scenes are so bad. Some ppl said they didnt mind the fighting scenes but admit the slow-mo is too extreme.
