On Kris Wu Nov 26, 2022
Person Kris Wu
Kris Wu is finished already. 13 years of prison + huge amount of money 600 million RMB need to be paid + deportation after 13 years in jail.

Wow. Chinese law is quite strict and scary.

I thought before he would escape from the punishment because of his fans in social media keep defending him to death. They said it was about DMZ fake statement etc etc. But unfortunately, the chinese court decided something else and he is not only guilty in raping one woman, but he raped several women underage + tax evasion + gathering group of ppl to do misconduct sexual activities.

Annyeong Haseyo means hello. It's the formal version.
No. It would be so weird of they used "Greetings" as the translations of Annyeonghaseyo.

In this case, Hello is a general/common word. It's still valid n polite to use Hello as the translations. I can understand if you complained about it if they used "Hi" instead of "Hello". Because "Hi" is too casual or informal and it's not polite to use "Hi" in official statement.

However, annyeong is like "Hi". But annyeonghaseyo can be translated into "Hello". I learned korean since I was young. So i understand the context of it.

Greetings would be more fit to replace english word like "Dear, xxx" in formal email/letter to someone. And in the end the letter or email said "Best regards, xxx".

Learn chinese and you wont need english anymore:)
Yup. Besides Mandarin, I learned English since I was a little. Plus I often speak + write something in english for international forums.

For korean, I learned it since my high school, including hangul, vocabularies, their writing language system and their grammars. Plus how to use korean formal vs banmal. Korean dramas helped me a lot. I mostly can understand korean daily conversations without subtitles now.

I am a drama addict for both korean and chinese dramas haha. Especially historical/period costume genre is really my thing. I also love wuxia and xianxia cdramas. Haha.

Me? 4 languages to be exactly. I'm chinese actually. So I speak english only to my international friends or forum like MDL.

I also want to study japanese 🤣 Japanese writing system is complex. They mixed kanji hiragana katakana in their sentences.

For kanji, We should know the meaning of chinese characters first then read it in japanese. For example hua 花 (flower), in japanese, they read that 花 as Hana.

It's the same like Hanja in korean. For ancient times, they wrote something in chinese words (Hanzi=Hanja) then translate it to korean language. For example chinese words 美女 is mei nü (pretty girl), in hanja, korean translate this 美女 into Mi-nyeo ( 미녀). Mei 美 become Mi, Nü 女become Nyeo.

It's sino-korean writing system. That's why when hangul was created, korean ppl got something simpler and easier to write. If we want to write korean in hanja, we should understand chinese first automatically.

For korean, hangul is very easy. But korean grammar is complicated because of formal n banmal. Plus they have past, present and future tense like english.

Mandarin is much more difficult than Korean.

We missed the tone of certain words then the meaning could change. Or we don't speak the mandarin clearly then other ppl hardly to understand it.

That's why some Cdramas used dubbing for help. Except the actors can speak perfect mandarin with good line delivery, then they can use the actors original voices.

Mandarin also got extremely difficult Hanzi/Chinese characters. Hanzi strokes and writing is more complex than Hangul. Plus there is certain order to write stroke by stroke. It made me dizzy when I was young. Plus I need to memorize millions of Hanzi characters.

Even Korean also had difficult times to learn Chinese characters (Hanja), that's why 4th Joseon King Sejong created Hangul so people (especially common people) can write something in easier way. In ancient times, only the royal families and korean nobles who can learn Chinese characters and adopted it into korean language system. Japanese did more complex adoption of chinese characters (Hanzi/Kanji) and they mixed them with their writing system (Katakana, Hiragana).

Fyi, I learned both chinese and korean.

Person Im Soo Hyang
Maybe you should do some research before scolding her. Too vulgar. In my id is gangnam beauty, she had to invest…
I am sorry but foreigners also have important role in creating the trending of kdramas. Many international platforms will buy the drama licenses if that drama got potential to be liked by international viewers.

So it's not only korean who give contribution about profit. International audiences who pay for the subscriptions also have contributions. Netflix, VIU, Disney, Amazon Prime, Kocowa, Viki, iQiyi, WeTV, etc paid the licenses for international audiences. And korean producers also got money from it.

I am just stating the fact. So it's not all about korean viewership rating if it's already involved the money or profit from productions.

Note : I don't hate Im Soo Hyang. I watched almost of all her dramas.

What did she do?
Actually it's not official issue. Her plagiarizing case is more like "take inspiration from others" then she modified them into her own stories.

Some of her works like The Legend of Blue Sea and Crash Landing On You got plagiarism controversy back then because of two "original" writers from both dramas claimed that Park Ji Eun took their ideas or concept in the first place.

However, no matter her stories are original or not, we can't deny that Park Ji Eun is a great script writer who can execute any story ideas become the masterpiece. It's her talent. Script writing is not easy. It's different with creating a novel or wattpad or short story. The directors need detailed, interesting, mood/atmosphere, and good script writing to make the great dramas. And Park Ji Eun can do that. She can make interesting script with consistent story developments.

As much as I loved Song Joong Ki and Kim Ji Won in season 1, I can't be mad about the casting of Lee Joon Gi.…
Well said! I also love Lee Joon Gi. He will be amazing in this role.

But i have love-hate relationship with Shin Se Kyung acting. Lol.

I will watch this only for Lee Joon Gi.

SJK declined the role already. So people, please stop complaining and just try to watch this drama first before judge something.

I am curious if you dont want LJG then who do you think more suitable for the role? I dont find any of them and LJG is the most perfect choice for the role.

Title My Deepest Dream Spoiler
Someone spoil the end for me, please! :) don't forget to click that 'spoiler' box.
It was happy ending. They lost their memories after comeback to real world. But they met again in sea side and start to introduce themselves from beginning.

But you better don't continue the epilogue. Coz it gave the different perspective.

The ending via epilogue. Warning!
It's fiction story. The FL write novel about dream and time travel. So 30 eps of this drama is the story of her novel 🤣🤣🤣 in conclusion, the ML is a fiction character.

Tell that to the korean population lol. SK is probably the most anti-lgbtq country in the world among modern countries…
Well, about that, not only korea, China is also one of the most anti lgbtq+ country among the modern countries.

Chinese government banned all BL adaptations into screen and movies nowadays.

Even though their BL dramas already got massive change from BL romance (Novel) to normal friendship + bromance (Dramas) like The Untamed and Word of Honor, it's still banned by chinese govt.

Title Somebody
It wasn’t great but it was watchable. But of course instead of just saying that, some people needs to go on…
Well. Honestly. I dont like LGBTQ+ romance on screen. That's why I only watch straight romance.

But I never talking trash or looking down on them (LGBTQ+ community) or people who loved BL in MDL or another websites. Because of what? Because it's simply their rights n choices. They have their own responsibilities for what they did or what they liked. I don't want to interfere their business.

If kdramas contained LGBTQ+ elements in straight romance story like this drama or Love in Contract or other dramas. I still kept watching them without complained about it here and there. Because I know there is minorities community like that in real life and I don't want to bully them online or offline.

I wanna tell you about this. You can't blame me just because i don't like LGBTQ+ romance stories. I also have my own rights to like them or not. It's my taste and preferences.

So just respect each other. Maybe there is some homophobic people here. It can't be avoided. Everyone got different mindset. Especially, majority of people are straight. You and me also got different perspective about this. But, not all people who dont support LGBTQ+ are rude and bully the minorities. I am just saying.

First of all,WTH!!!!Kris Wu practically forced the crew for additional screen time and filming lasted for 8 whole…
Plus kris acting is so stiff like wall block. He acted like he is the world finest actor with demanding something unnecessary like that.

Poor YZ. She wasted her time in project like this with unfortunate co-star. Innocent or not. I dont like Kris Wu.

I really hate jumping scenes, really, at first I was interested with story and make me very excited, but the timeskip…
I dont see any problems in ep 8 above. Its not jumping scenes. Its the detail version of what Lu An Ran did to change her past. What's wrong with that? The flashback is already there. We know the past vs the present because of those flashbacks vs present events in the same situations.

Well. I am here for angst drama.

I love how the tragedy happened in this drama. It gave me the feels of Bu Bu Jing Xin. Like one woman can bring the chaos or welfare into whole empire.
