Not to mention, that HE RAPED MEI LIN MANY TIMES in the novel. They can make this kind of drama if KMLM is short dramas. But no. This is a full length drama and censorship is more strict with them.

Don't get me wrong. I totally love RED flag characters. But they never cross the boundaries as normal humans. They are dangerous but they also love the female lead as their only one. Just look at Ling Bu Yi, Xie Wei, Murong Jinghe (drama ver), Gong Shang Jue, Tantai Jin, Helian Xi, etc.

If you want to see MRJH novel version, maybe you should watch short dramas like Love & Bid Farewell for Black Flag ML. There is rape scenes and tortures there. They can air it because it's mini drama with 15-17 mins per eps.

I think iQiyi is more bold to release shelved dramas. Just look at TDHR and Love Never Fails. I heard both Tencent and iQiyi will release The Prisoner of Beauty first after Serendipity and Love in Pavillion.
