I love hollywood movies but i dont find their american series are engaging. What I hate about american shows are their multiple seasons like soap opera with never ending story. Then, if people are not interested anymore, they will cut the story with rush conclusion or hanging the story without end.
This drama is definitely getting interesting. Especially after Jayden Lee make a bomb appearance in the drama. For eps 1-2 yes its a full of revenge cliche starter package. But after eps 5 above, its sooo good.
But I hope the writer wont make something obvious or predictable too often. Scapegoat elements, killing the witness/criminals, bribe the people to give false statement, etc.
Just give me the new methods. Its already on so many revenge plot dramas especially in legal dramas.
Many people said its similar with Evernight. But some elements also can be found in Ashes of Love. You can see many comparisons in twitter. Even one of the costume is the same with Goodbye My Princess.

I watched MOST of historical period costume cdramas out there for many genres like xianxia, wuxia, xuanhuan, palace schemes etc. So I know the difference very well. And for AOS, they took so many fantasy elements that often used in xianxia drama. Including blindfold sword fighting + flying in the air + inner power.
How is it so far? After they reach the middle of drama? Coz some ppl said this drama is so good at initial premiere (2 first eps). But I saw people changed the opinion and said this is weird dumb and boring.

I think its because of chinese censorship. They will not pass the censorship if the drama showed too much human organs. Its very different with kdramas, coz korean can show their creativity without the fear of government or censorship.
Idk with american dramas. I just know the grey's anatomy but never watch it. I also know about american adaptation of kdrama Good doctor. But still, Korean original "Good Doctor" is much better than american ver with many seasons.
Based on 6 episodes, it's a good medical drama with a lot of surgery storylines. But still, Korean executed it so much better. Kdramas mostly show us how the process of the surgery and what the doctors had done and solved about problematic area in the human organs like lungs, heart, liver, intestines, etc. BUT this drama hardly show human organs and its medical process on the problematic area, we only heard the doctors are talking about the surgery process that they are working right now to solve the problem. They just show us the surgery process from the SIDE + zoom in to doctors face + the scalpel and etc. Idk if it is has something to do with chinese censorship. This is why the korean is called an expert in medical genre.

They decided to split the initial release license. iQiyi got premiere in SG, MY, TH, TW, KOR, CN, and some parts of Europe. When WeTV got premiere in ID, PH, VN. Looks like your region is between Indonesia, philippines, and vietnam.
