I will be honest, the story could have been better. The untimely unnecessary deaths of everyone was too much. Serious lack of romance. The good thing about this drama was the CGI the details on the set and lastly the costumes. These things were really well done. Tbh these things r quite rare in chinese dramas. Hats off to these people.
The FL's mother is a major disappointment. Such s handsome, rich & nice husband & she still cheats. They still didn't clarify how the FL's father was the murder suspect. Another y did he kill himself?! For 19 episodes all this should have been clarified instead of the unnecessary drag. Another thing the ML's mother is seriously lacking some basic sympathy and maternal feelings. A 15 year old girl just lost her parents, it doesn't matter how they died, she should have shown care and tolerance towards the girl. Nothing else but on the basis that her father literally saved them from ruin or being on the road. Same for the ML being too rough with a 15 year old. Throwing her on the ground. They didn't deserve her or her father's kindness.
Where do i even start with this drama!!! First point the FL's acting & the role are badly written. She keeps throwing her husband at other ladies. She left her hurt & bleeding husband behind with her sister. Did she ever even love him??? I could only see love from the ML. The FL is too stupid & annoying for me! Idk if anybody noticed i think episode 11 when the kid went to the hospital for head injury the FL suddenly got curls in her hair. I mean did she get her hair curled before taking her son to the hospital!?!?
I saw a few near kisses and attempts at kissing or being intimate but none completed .. was there any actual romance…
I have watched till ep 21 and there is only 1 kiss so far. They could have really done better for the romance department. Its seriously lacking. There is no building of their love which is such a disappointment.
I just don't like her as a person. Her acting is just fine too. The roles she picks doesn't require alot of face emotions and she already isn't good at face expressions. The combination gives her the advantage.
Romance part was done well but other parts really there was potential for more. This drama definitely had the potential for being better than what it is.
It was focusing a little too much on advertising. It is the fluffy kind with everything settling down quickly. Had potential but i guess they ran out of investment or something bcuz in the last episode everything was wrapped up quickly.
