i feel sorry for international fans because the sub in youtube is not ready and the sub in MangoTV is a rough translation. Nevertheless, I re-watch N times and I don't feel bored, this drama is one of the best drama that I watch this year.

Not based on novel

No offence, with current 10 episodes, I would say this drama >>> an oriental odyssey and Thousand years of love.
The logical explanation, the CP feels, the story plots, etc. Its not a simple lovey dovey plot but make sense plot with valid reasons.

Damn, episode 8 is epic!!!!

He wasn't being mean to her, he's trying to figure out what she wrote to her father (King) in the secret letter. He thinks she betrayed him by outsold him to the political party. Since he's a general, he fight for the country in war zone and dislike the "political part in the Palace". He believes his brother died due to political conspiracy.
Previously thousand of Xue's men died because of one culprit betrayed the Xue's family by accusing them, the general wants to prevent the same thing from happening thus he's going to threaten FM by interrogation method. However, the female lead is smart and she did not betray male lead, when male lead read the letter she wrote, he realised he misunderstood her. The King adviced them to stay together as husband and wife. He didn't want to let her go but he felt guilty so he let her decides. Female lead knows if she walk away with her brother, she disobey the King's order. This will cause trouble to her brother, therefore she went back to ML.

Loving it so far. Completed 6 episodes and rewatched for the 2nd time, without fast forwarding! Compatible CP feels, great acting skills, reasonable plots, fast-paced, interesting characters for main and side casts, sweet and tears, will follow this drama.

There's 6 novels in the series, actually Su Mo, Bai Ying, Zhen Lan, Na Sheng, Yan Xi, Yun Huan are all the main characters in the novel, their stories are inter-connected. However, most of the China dramas will categorise the main and support roles based on the cast selection. When novel rights are sold to film company, the script writer get to decide which character they want to select as the main/support roles by adding and deleting scenes for them in the drama. They usually will not follow the novel plots 100%.

They have recently wrapped up the drama. Hopefully it will be air by this year before Sep ends.

You are right, he has the "ACTOR" quality. I believe he will climb up slowly and be the actor that everyone will recognise in the future . PS: many of his scenes in Royal Nirvana were deleted due to restrictions, majority of RN fans in China are waiting patiently for the remaining 12 episodes to be release, I believe the last scene of Gu Feng En/Jia Yi Bo with Crown Prince will impress everyone because it is the highlight/climax in the novel + director praised the scene.

I've watched both. Go Princess Go is considered the 1st China Web series, many scenes in Legend of YunXi were deleted as well.. Nowadays China policy are very strict.
