The FL is only a mortal/human being with slight knowledge about magical power but crown Prince is a demon whereas ML is a god/celestial

Because the crown Prince is not a human but a demon/powerful, Qin Chuan doesn't have the ability to directly kill a demon but able to kill Zuo's father because he's just a puppet/human.

I believe audience might not able to accept it because in the book or in the drama, ML never has any intimidating scenes with Princess but with Qin Chuan, if changed back the look people might feels that Fu Jiu Yun is loving 2 different girls. Anyway, he loves her soul and not her look tho. ^_^

It will be hard for him to fight for good roles although his acting skills are good. He didn't sign any entertainment company after terminated his contract with old company and need to work extra hard to get any roles in a drama or movie. He almost get a role in a modern drama (already confirm and will sign contract) but the role was snatched away from him a day before signing contract by another actor which has a stronger background/company supports. This happened quite often in entertainment world. His fans hope he will receive good script and drama but this really depends on his luck.
He went for interview and screen test in order to get the role in Love O2O/The Journey of Flower/He and His Son.
He obtained the role in Royal Nirvana/Let's Shake It/Love of Thousand Years because of referral from others in the entertainment world and recognition on his acting skills.
An Oriental Odyssey is a role where he got after the initial male lead decided not to take up the role because it is mainly to promote female lead x 2nd male lead instead --> promotion for their modern drama.

ML recognized FL and was teasing her all the time, too bad the drama did not shows how the ML falls for the FL in the last 9 lives. Anyway, the drama is still airing in China and the complete story might be reveal in later episodes.

In the novel, the Princess changed back to her look in episode 10 (drama, FL changed to red clothes and stole the lamp, she never save ML in the drama because ML does not have any issue to defeat the Dragon Lord). However, I believe in the drama, the Princess will not change back to her original face because the actress is the lead whereas another actress is just special guest appearance.

It's call "三千鸦杀", Chinese literature direct translate as "The Killing of Three Thousand Crows", I'm not sure if there's any English translation for the novel.
The meaning of "三千鸦杀" means I hope the crows/birds don't chirps because it means the day/sun is here; when night was over and day is here, I can no longer stay besides you (meaning I will leave you although I do not wish to.)

They are being faithful to the novel. In the novel, the princess changed her face to her maid/servant because she died while protecting her and asked the princess to live on behalf of her. The princess wanted to commit suicide since all her loved ones were deceased. She carry on the will to live with the dedication to kill all the demons by lighting up the lamp (main plot of the drama)

So far he does not sign with any agency and work alone now. ^_^

The description of male lead in the novel are:
- Boring about life until he found something interesting (the initial reason why he observed the female lead for 9 past lives because of her characteristic which attracts his attention) and
- 风流 (only flirty from the surface, he was never the kind of playboy or plays girl's feeling or sexual harass them; deep down he is loyal and only tease the female lead). The male actor has toned down A LOT about his flirtatious in the drama compared to the novel. The male actor literally acted and said the dialogues from the novel itself.
Anyway, it's true that the ML intimidates FL but he will not cross the borderline, he always ensure he intimates slowly, if the FL dislike it she will rejects him and he will stop; if the FL doesn't reject him, then he will only steps up and keep moving forward. The purpose of White mirror is to let ML knows about her current condition and keep her safe.

Actually ML already gave up on FL when they last met at Li Kingdom and after ML gave her his drawing. At the beginning, when FL is sleeping, ML went to her room to see FL's life line palm (to check her destiny and knows that she will have a great life - married to 2nd male lead and becomes a deity after Li Kingdom is destroyed >10 years later). However, the demon has changed FL's destiny by attacking Li Kingdom earlier than the correct timeline, ML decided to save FL's life by killing the demon soldiers which violated the rules of Celestial/Human/Demon are not suppose to interfere each other. This is how the story of this drama starts. :)

As an audience, after watching a TV series for 9 seasons but the female lead always ended up tragically; During season finale, we can't bear with the writer so we decided to have a petition to change the FL's ending of the series. - Fu Jiu Yun because he decided to interferes the FL's tragic life and wants to give her a happy life.

Or another metaphor,
2. A fan girl watches a drama with 20 episodes, after the drama had ended, the fan girl falls in love with the actor and becomes a fan of him <3. - also Fu Jiu Yun because he loves the girl after observing her previous lives.

novel is a Happy Ending, better than Oriental Odyssey's sad ending. And have more kiss scenes + steamy scenes. hehe~ ^_^

Due to China government policy, the rebellious along with other essential and sensitive story plots were deleted (12 episodes in total!). His role in Royal Nirvana plays a major role for the rebellion arc and got praised by director, unfortunately majority of the scenes were cut and we have no luck to watch it. >.<
