I am confused about this part. She was doctor, he was a lawyer. For what business did they left the country? Neither were active supporter of the nationalist government and thus didn't need to flee. Moreover, in 1955 they should not be that old, why close the hospital?

Yan He could have easily survived with one hand if the writers wanted to.

Flashbacks are important but there were repeated ones. They could have been easily omitted.
For the 16-17 years of their life shown, 70-75percent of drama focused on 2 years of high school. Overall balance is off given the type of drama.
Dramas which are high school based dramas (like A love so beautiful or When I fly towards you) it's fine. But this one is different. It starts with FL's pov from childhood, teenage and then adulthood. Episode distribution needs to be balanced. 24 episodes is not short. I am not hating on the drama, I like it but it could have been better.

I am not disappointed with the story but since its a daylight production drama ( which made brilliant dramas like NIF, Story of Minglan, The bond & Romance in the alley and so many), I was expecting more from it.
There could have been more story included in the 24 episodes had they omitted some of the repetitive part and flashbacks.

Ohh.. I didn't get that. I thought she was just wearing plain clothes while doing autopsies. Moreover, in substitles, it just mentions, master wan. I thought "master" means teacher and not male.
