If you want to get political, how about telling the whole story? Like how it all started because the Hamas terrorist organization that governs Gaza kidnapped, raped, disfigured, and slaughtered women attending a music festival, dragging them across the border into Gaza. Killing the children and torturing and killing the men.
Why is it necessary to dub the actresses if the drama is written in Mandarin and the actresses are speaking Mandarin?
Thank you. I can certainly understand the second reason. Particularly for long shots outdoors where sound equipment like mic booms would be seen, and even medium shots where baffles don't block enough of the noise. But wouldn't you think that learning to speak in the dialect/accent of their character would be part of the actor's job?
Ancy Deng is a terrific actress! At only 19 years of age, she carries this drama with all the confidence and charisma of the older, more experienced actresses that are usually cast in historical dramas. And the camera absolutely loves her. This girl is a STAR.
On episode 4 and I still don't know how I feel about this drama. It won't be a 10 for sure and though Bit Na has…
Not only do I not understand the hype for the drama, but also for Park Shin Hye's performance. I think she was miscast and that another actress with some prior experience playing an anti-heroine might've made me stick around a bit longer.
Great concept; too much on-screen violence. Someone teach filmmakers that violent acts that are implied can be just as shocking as over-long scenes of violence that are shoved in your face.
Oops. Clicked the heart by mistake. Ha Ji-won is a goddess. True, she doesn't look like a puppy, but she can do…
Sure. And I'm a fan of several besides Ha Ji-won. But this page is about Hospital Ship and Ha Ji-won. Anyway, here's some kick-ass fun compliments of Ha Ji-won. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7Ri6L1vBnA

She rarely plays characters in k-dramas for whom romance (and kissing) is that important. In this one, she's actively uninterested in having a relationship and the ML has to work his dimples really hard to get her to look at him even. She made one k-drama that is a rom-com, The Time When We were Not in Love, and she aces it, so maybe watch that. Secret Forest is her comeback after a 3-year break during which she was recovering from the sudden death of her father and her younger brother's suicide, and it took several episodes before she got into her role. Her movie, Love So Divine is a sexy, hilarious rom-com which you might enjoy. As you can see, I'm a major Ha Ji-won fan.
HSH was very good as the 2nd FL in The World of the Married, which had a really great script. But I've dropped two other dramas in which she was the FL. I think, for me, it isn't so much her acting as her choice of dramas. Soppy, depressing romance and extreme violence and sadism just don't appeal to me. Nevertheless, I like the idea of 2 FLs, so I'll give her new drama a chance.
