No worries, I showed this drama to my mom and she fell asleep :'). She said she doesn't understand it, so I told her the story manually and she finally gets it and continues watching.

Hmmm, I'm only writing this just in case you still need it hehe. Basically in the beginning is only the introduction to their families' grudge. Wei Shao (played by Yuning) is the only survivor in the massacre of Xindu, a Wei State. His grandfather, father, and older brother was killed since they didn't receive any reinforcements from their Ally, the Qiao family/clan. Qiao Man (played by Song Zuer) is the younger sister, she is the one replacing Qiao Fan (her older sister but different mother and father, like a cousin basically, played by He Hong Shan) for the marriage between Qiao and Wei. Why they get married? The Qiao family heard of Wei Shao's rise and is scared that they will get wiped/attacked since they know the Qiao family has once betrayed them. Qiao Fan will runaway and marry Bi Zhi (the buff guy with one green eye). That's all I can spoil since you've only watched episode one.

Just finished the drama.. Personally I am still disappointed that the Villains' death was too quick and forgiving, also there is no reaction to Qiao Fan's death? (I meant from Manman), and only short scenes of their entire family (I meant with the baby). But still a memorable drama nonetheless (at least for me). Basically the story I personally feel becomes stale nearing the ending. A lil bit disappointed that a masterpiece was once again "ruined" by the ending.

I almost dropped this drama.. Thank god the resolution is not dragged so far ahead... In episode 19 the misunderstanding is resolved and they get lovey-dovey again. It would be so annoying and dragging if they intentionally let the misunderstanding go on for a long time, making it predictable and cliche (I don't know if this is the correct word to describe it but I hate dramas that abuse the "misunderstanding" to create fillers or content in the drama).

Just finished it, and I know I might be a little bit biased because I like Zhou Ye, and she's actually the reason I decided to watch this... But why do they treat Liu Xi Chuan (Zhou Ye) so poorly here? I skimmed through the drama, she is supposedly "popular" and she is so kind throughout the drama. By kind, I mean at least towards her friends. She always supports Jing Zhihui and Xie Jing Yuan and is basically respectful of the teachers she decides to respect (ex. Mr. Liu). But throughout the drama she was mistreated by the teachers (especially Ms. Wu who has a personal vendetta with her I think), betrayed by her own friend because of a misunderstanding (the "lie" part to skip working out), and got her admission (or idk the special thingy for college) stolen by her Jing Zhihui? Who is supposedly her best friend? Yet she is so chill about it and even treats Jing Zhihui normally? I mean realistically she should've held a grudge or at least be distant towards her "best friend" because she stole her admission (imma just call it admission for now). And that just makes Jing Zhihui a bad person here? I know it's the school decision but cmon if you knew you stole your homie's admission you would refuse it and give it back to him, especially when you've eavedropped the teachers and knew that Ms. Wu hates her + the principal is powerless. Jing Zhihui helped a lot of other people in the drama yet chooses to disappoint her own best friend??? Or is she even her best friend in the first place? I don't know... Even the ending is not that satisfying imo... unclear at least for me...

We're not blaming people for falling in love, but we shouldn't blame her either. Su Miao is created because she was "ugly", and she didn't even know that she could create Su Miao. If I remember she transformed unknowingly as first, and changed into Su Miao to "avenge" herself after he "insulted" her in the modeling photoshoot session after she was mistakenly thought to be "Su Miao". Afterwards more or less she only changes just because he kept wanting to meet Su Miao and knows that she knows Su Miao since she has the same bracelet (the one that can't be taken off, but after the update it can be invincible/hidden). As for Fang Jin, she did it to help Fang Jin? And for Quan Sheng Tang, created just so that he can lay off from Fang Jin by creating a made up boyfriend for her. Just saying that both made mistakes, and we will soon see how they both fix it. As to will he fall in love with Su Cheng Cheng after he knows that she is behind all of them, is up to him. After all it's a drama, we can't overcomplicate things ;'].

How exactly did she play with his feelings though? You're making it sound like she did something wrong. He was the one who fell hard on both occasions no...? She did nothing to approach or pursue him in both personas. He met her accidentally on both occasions, and decided that he loves them both and even actively chases after them. She even decided to end both Su Miao and Fang Jin relationship with him by
1. pretending to be d***
2. pretending that she is Fang Jin's 2nd personality.

How is it wrong tho...? It's baffling for him sure, but neither of them has shown interest yet so there should be no issue here. Unless Su Cheng Cheng is playing with his feelings or something? Right now it just looks like she doesn't want him to know that she can change her appearance. I personally like that it's going at this pace, I mean at her position it is logical to act that way.
