Since TVN is yet to release all OSTs, to fill the void I started blasting Ruelle's songs...and I just realised how PERFECTLY they fit this show, like "War of Hearts" is like the unofficial SangHwal track imo...also "Monsters" fits so well with ET and "The Other Side" is just like giving the best sad broken vibes!!!!!!!!! so if anyone's given up waiting for OSTs like me, check these out!

I disagree, I think she is a very emotional grounded and balanced character, she is not overcome by grief, hatred etc easily to loose sight of what's important, which Hwal does (he has been suffering the longest so), or like fam who ignore all safety warnings and put everyone in trouble...She has saved Hwal so many times, she saved her sister as well, and I think she did a good job of protecting her sister growing up. A lot of people say she was being stupid and taking silly risks but she literally found out key clues like ETs weakness, truth behind the family murder, how to kill the Bulgasals due to sheer persistence to unearth the truth in shorter time than Hwal who's roamed around without knowing anything for 100s of years. She is also brave (like all the female characters on the show - Si ho ❤️ ) like she stood up to Hwal in the tunnel, and the monsters (remember she is only a human), even made a truce with Hwal to kill ET just to protect her sister...also, she is the least swayed by the past of all the people so far and ETs words, she did waver because of Hwal's actions in last two episodes, but ultimately followed her gut feelings...also, the story is centred around her (and the two guys), begins with her - ofc there's also the thing with writing - the writers could have writen the character as a independent badass monster hunting ninja (I'd love that) but within the scope and story of this show as it's formulated, you cannot say her character is the worst or useless - heck the policeman who didn't hear any blood sucking neck tearing sounds from outside a tent are the worst imo

After watching ep 13, I feel like the tragic end for SW and DH is unavoidable, I was thinking along the same lines as your theory since the big revelation about the connected lives of the Bulgasals, and I don't think there's another way out of this painful painful cycle of rebirths...
I'm not ready for this, because if it turns out the way you predicted then SW and DH will lose out on any chance of happiness, because they won't be able to reincarnate if they are OG Bulgasals as they didn't have any souls to begin with, right ?!!
I hope they get a happy ending idk anymore 😭😭😭
