Title My Dearest Spoiler
x2. Im already lost. But I don't want to make an effort to understand either haha
How long did the invasion/war period last? I saw on Wikipedia (not the best place to research) that it lasted 1636-37?
Also, I read somewhere that they are gonna cover a period of 23 years in this show with all the separation and reunions etc?
So that means they will show the aftermath and life under the Mings? Or were there other wars?

You see I'd rather stop before having to watch multiple wars in my weekend drama, and it's going to be a long run too

Don't think that's her. That's an ex-official which means that's a man.
I think it's not gil chae because of the gray hair, like how can she have all gray hair? she looks pretty young at the beginning of the show, even if it's more than 15 years, will she have a head full of gray hair? Lol 🤣🤣🤣

Why would the ghost kill all those people? Just because they were a threat to her existence. I highly doubt that.…
oh this is an interesting theory. I'm sure some of them were the enemies of the people who the spirit had possessed (the hosts) like Haesang's Gradfather and prof Gu Gangmo. The rest must be related to the case either because the spirit wanted revenge or was trying to hide something I'm not sure

In Ep 5, it mentioned that a company bought the property were SY’s mom old home is on in her hometown. Why do…
Yes! I was thinking the same, it could be the one, would make sense with all that "energy of someone who was killed" and the buried object etc

I wonder why it went down episode 5 was so good i hope we can get back to double digit next week 🙏
So true, there's a lot of competition right now
many would say there's not much overlap in slots between this show and the other popular ones, but I think because there are so many good ones airing at the same time, it is not getting as much spotlight as it deserves. Honestly they should've released this around fall, would've made it more spooky lol

she did I think but acted like she didnt cause she smiled when she left?
That is so damn creepy. Idk how they'll be able to stop her from harming someone or obstructing her plans if she is always listening in 😭

I had the same question but honestly now that I think about it, I don't want to know lol
Oh, maybe it's part of the plan? I don't know whether we'll get all the answers, she could have killed sanyoung as well when she was a kid, but I think this spirit does not kill someone unless it is a way of fulfilling it's host desire thus growing more powerful itself or for the larger goal of revenge whatever that is.

Think there is a 3rd party who is making the ghost stay to do its bidding in this world.. otherwise why haunt…
Yes there could eb a third party after all. From the moment the prof's grandma appeared on screen she did not give me a good vibe...her telling him that his mother had died in that cruel way tells me that she is a definitely a sus character who could get involved in some kind of freakish ritual for personal gains, ignoring the fact that it could haunt three generations of her family line, but I could be wrong lol its just that the actress playin the grandma is very famous and her outfits scream villain to me

she did I think but acted like she didnt cause she smiled when she left?
exactly there was a very faint smile on her face, so I feel like she was faking not seeing the other ghost, but she took out her phone with her right hand (or both) when she was out, didn't she? so I'm a bit confused. from now on I think the lines will start getting blurry between when she is herself and when the ghost takes over her. I'm also curious if the ghost is constantly listening in on her/others around her or only reacts when sanyoung is swayed by some kind of desire/distress/hatred etc?

They might have to find the 5 objects (that’s related to the yeommae) and then take it to where (area) the person…
yes I believe so to, that it wants to pass on tothe afterlife but I fucking hate how innocent people around gu san-young are getting hurt!!! I'm losing count on how many members of gu sanyoung's family died because of this, and how many of her friends/acquaintances' lives are threatened atm

Is ghost listening in every conversation FL has?Is that the reason ML/prof is being cautious now because he realizes…
I've been wondering about the same. How will any of their investigation bear fruit, if the ghost is listening in, the ghost will always be a step ahead?! And it is not dormant, it is awake in her, like after gu san-young read the text in ep 4 from her best friend, the ghost started acting up, and did all that mess in the party. Also, I feel like she is letting sanyoung and haesang to investigate so that she can find something (ep 4 ending), so she was actually using them for that, which tells me she is indeed listening in. If the detectives team up with them, the ghost could also mess up the police investigation because she asked hae-sang about what the old detective was up to when she came to his house.

Title Taxi Driver Season 2 Spoiler
I don't find season 2 bad at all. I just think it feels different because of the development of the characters…
Yes, I agree with your comment. imo Season 2 is more fun to watch. The shift in tone clearly supports and parallels the journey the team has been on, and suits the development of each character so far. Their personal cases are resolved, now they (creators) should only focus on how the main characters deal with their traumas (which we have seen teeny tiny snippets of), so it seems logical they take various new cases.
They've dropped the tricks they used in S1, and found the method that's suitable to their team and principles in a way, I think, if that makes sense.
Honestly, I think in this season they are gonna face greater risk than ever before, because the villain has infiltrated the company, and his objective is to harm them from the get go. The villain last season altho untrustworthy, still wasn't unpredictable, like we knew where their risky partnership was headed and she was extremely greedy but they had a biz deal...here the villain seems to be intrigued and obsessed with the team itself which is so scary

Alright so episode 8 and half time of the season and I gotta say from the stories and cases it was quite well…
Your comment really made me think about their way of punishing the criminals. In this season the police and prosecution are totally left out of the picture so far...I saw a lot of people getting annoyed with the prosecutors last season, so I think that's why they chose to do this.

They are meting out personal revenge only, although it helps the victims emotionally and recovers their wealth or helps them access rehabilitation - in the show the judicial system is just left out, they don't show if any changes have been made in legal process or bills introduced to protect or prevent such things from happening in future, as no one knows about these cases at all, unless they are shown in news, I think?
Which I would've loved to watch, but all the cases they show - the criminals carry out the scams in such a way that they cannot be punished legally and no authorities listened to the victims either, so they function in this grey area? I think they show has made that clear from the start. That's what makes it unique too - it's all about personal revenge. I mean, even tho all the Rainbow Taxi members are sympathetic to the victims and are "righteous" people - they are also deriving personal satisfaction and pleasure out of seeing the criminals suffer because of their own traumas.

I want more team scenes as well, they are so fun to watch. Also, they need to explore how Do ki is dealing with his trauma, I'd love to see that...the flashback scene was so interesting

I have a theory about who's playing the main villain, which I don't think Shin Jae Ha is the main villain?!in…
I think it's the guy in the trailer - under the umbrella who is the main villain - my guess is he is the actor who plays the thug with the buzz cut? in If You Wish Upon Me, who is after Ji Chang Wook's character and also grew in the same orphanage as him? Idk why I feel like it's him

Maybe you should go back and rewatch the episode to understand better. Those were two sets of couples..Mr Jung…
I got so confused, honestly, trying to understand how this whole real estate scam worked, and more when I thought about the details like the couples reporting the children as missing and birth certificates etc
Your comments and the replies above actually helped a lot - but at this point, I've decided not to question or even wonder whether a scene makes sense or not in the coming episodes. There are so many details missing, that now I'm going to embrace whatever they will throw in the story, for my peace of mind.
Police - where are they? CCTVs - what are those? invisible flying alien cameras - Go eun owns all of them to follow Do ki around because those camera angles and video feed on her screen don't make sense! lol

But I'm excited for the cult/crime ring reveal, hopefully that will be satisfying to watch. The scenes with the Rainbow Taxi team all together are fun to watch as they all have great chemistry, and I approve of the ship :)

Can anyone tell me how gross/scary/graphic this and the first series are? I'm a wimp but it looks really good…
This season is going great so far, nothing too graphic or gory. honestly, I feel they have changed the vibe of the show, it doesn't feel as dark as the first season, even tho they are covering cases that are reallyyy dark. I heard the rating is 15+ for S2, as told by the director in an interview.

Title Taxi Driver Season 2 Spoiler
Can anyone tell me how gross/scary/graphic this and the first series are? I'm a wimp but it looks really good…
In the first season the sexual assault is never shown , nor any nudity.
I'm going into detail, but I don't think that will take away anything - so as far as I remember (it's been ages since I watched) the sexual assault case was like a non-consensual filming/distribution/pornography case - so they didn't show any graphic violence.

Other than that, there are scenes of what I consider the type of violence shown in most mainstream action films/shows with the lead getting revenge on the bad guys - so nothing too noir gory. But in the last one or two episodes, there are a few gory scenes (finger smashing OUCHH) etc so tread with care or skip those scenes, which I couldn't as nobody warned me :'(

Hope I didn't spoil too much
