I dont know about "Rich"... It sounds like she just landed on a sinking ship. And then the mom just called the whole family saying they just landed on a pile of gold. I have a feeling FL is going to encounter lots of requests for $$ and free hotel and restaurant accommodations to top it off. the Mother is supposed to annoy us...the writers are doing their job well on this aspect. She is bringing the Drama....but I agree on why would they continue to write the rest of the family to enable her....that part gets on my nerves the worst. I would love to see Dad and Brother put her in her place besides the FL. She also has no self accountability at all. I think that is the number one trait I loath.I think the leads have 0 chemistry in terms of love/romance; but I still love the story and I am enjoying their acting and performance.

I have similar feelings but stuck it out. it is up to ep 23 right now, and for me it started getting good on ep 21... but ep 23 was very exciting and tableturning. it's the exuberant about of redundant flashbacks that kill me, luckily you can ff through them.
You watch 23 épisodes because you have respect for the actors 🤣🤣🤣🤣.
Yes. I love the main leads in everything I have seen them in so far.... To elaborate ZL always plays a strong Female lead that still exudes femininity without ever coming across as silly. She does it so well. This is my favorite type of FL and I love her Shen Li. ZL's eyes and stare are mesmerizing to me. Her and Kenny lin have fantastic chemistry. the story has its good moments but too many times are drawn out to an almost excruciating slow pace for me with an overdone amount of flashbacks that take up too much time of an episode. They had cool adventures in the mortal world and some funny moments but I personally like a more fast paced serious story so I was having a difficult time with it. Besides 'In Blossom' (which I find a really good drama right now) There is nothing else yo watch that I have available..... so I am sticking it out. Glad I did because I see a turn in this drama that excites me.
Legend of Shen Li so far has been a drag and a disappointment. so far for me that up until ep 21 felt like slow fluff with beautiful actors and costumes. The only thing that kept me interested were my respect and love for The main actors... Now episodes 22 & 23 come and my interest is perked up at attention. I like everyone else loved Mofung's character and am intrigued with his direction. Thank you for the redemption. Better late than never. Finally got some meat on a table that has only been serving continental breakfast.
I just want to know who the big shots are who owe Irene Song money¿ or who's life did she save¿she is cute... and an ok actress.... but sorry, she is not FL material. Sorry to all her fans.I just have a problem with trying to entrance myself in a story if I find it hard to see the chemistry or natural attraction. There are a few very popular actors who ruin it for me and she is one of them.I dont hate her. I just think she is misplaced most times in productions as FL.

I feel like so far since FL has gone back to mortal realm, each episode doesn't have enough story. Maybe stretched a little thin. I know...I know. I am going against the Rave Reviews and comments. But I was hoping for more. Maybe will pick back up and I'll eat my comment.
