And the relationship between the ml and the fl (he is his stepson) is pretty adorable. There are some weirdos who actually ship them but to me they seemed the perfect son-mother duo or even at times siblings. Watch the drama it's actually pretty good.

A character that you may love might be really annoying to someone else. The leads did know each other for a long time but their lack of communication says otherwise. To me they didn't seem like best friends and that too is my own opinion. If john and jiwan had more screentime this drama definitely would have been better.
