One can find a lot of interesting mini docs and articles about single Chinese women over 25 being called derisively as "leftovers". Clearly, shaming independent women's choices still isn't working as much as they try. If anything these policies are ironically more like birth control.

telling how certain melon created twt accounts popping up never shared the doomsday melons of last year (very similiar talk and trending of danmei adaptations being banned happened then too) and now they've caught on to the high engagement these receive because of current scandals and changes being made in c-ent.
realistically, we will only get a good idea of the situation if something officially comes out from higher ups. because yeah i'm worried still but not because of fearmongering melons.
