TW homophobia: I feel sick with how homophobic the world is. Sure much of the premise of BL has issues and it's typically why I didn't like a lot of it, but as a queer person I found some sort of comfort in BL as silly as that may seem since bigger issues are at hand. I especially fell in love with these characters. Was so excited to see LYX play someone I adore. Hope things change.
I will pray that you don't have to wait that long.
Oh, I'm really excited to watch it.I think I'll start this weekend since it's only 6 episodes. Only heard good things.
I've been meaning to watch My Mister. How is it? I'm not sure I can handle anything too angsty right now but if it's good I'll add to my watchlist. Yes, I think during these times we may have to comfort ourselves with K-dramas. Ha.
People claim a ban has happened but nothing of such has been announced officially. It's pretty vague in the memo…
Yeah, a friend of mine who I rant about C-ent news (they really don't care but amuse me) brought up the similarity to these events to the Hays Code. It just seems like bans whether official or not in the industry are a common recurrence. This is a real waiting game considering how things can go either way. /sigh
Investing time and energy waiting for C-dramas is no joke. I'm going to pretend it's like waiting for a favorite…
One of LYX drama recorded in 2015/6 came out now. I'm like HOW?? Especially since this day in age these can become so outdated quickly. Praying OOL and HYX does not meet the same fate!

Considering fandom spending restrictions have popped up this year, especially against excessive crowdfunding that's not going to charity I'm not one bit surprised by what happened with the current enviroment in C-ent.
Last I checked the ban on said fanclub is temporary. What's mad shady is that most of the fanclubs that have been muted by users happen to be for Kpop.
I'm still confused with the ban of effeminate men on TV in China. Many Chinese netizens are saying that it means…

From what I've seen from more level headed C-ent accounts on social media say they get the impression things may become stricter for this niche but no ban exists as of yet and that fans shouldn't cause a fuss or problem for the cast in these dramas as that can cause further problems/delays (but that seems the common sound advice for any c-shows these days).
Sorry for talking about something off topic. I noticed on your profile you watched CLOY. I love that show. One…
I think CLOY is a great introduction to K-Dramas! It was a first for some of my family members too. My dad was so happy to find out the main couple are together in real life haha! The cast as a whole is amazing. Just overall chemistry I love. I love strong ensembles in shows, leads shouldn't be the only ones carrying shows in my opinion. I stupidly didn't get Kim Jung Hyun's charms (but totally in love with Seo Dan instead) when watching CLOY but after Mr. Queen I'm smitten and look forward to his career more.
The way i was just waiting for Oath of love to finish before starting my read of The Husky and His White Cat Shizun…
Investing time and energy waiting for C-dramas is no joke. I'm going to pretend it's like waiting for a favorite author to release a book, disheartening to wait but it will come out when it's ready to. It will come out!

I love CLOY!!!
If you haven't seen it I recommend watching Mr. Queen starring Kim-jung Hyun (my interest in C-dramas started with Mr. Queen when I found out it's based on a C-drama called Go Princess Go! ha!) Funny enough even the censored C-drama is more daring than the Korean version.
It's a pain init. Usually if I can't find the series on WeTV (when it's supposed to be), it's usually because…
I do have two different VPNs. I guess I'm going to have to use YT or DM for the ones I can't find on Viki or Netflix. Just strange that it's the BL titles I'm only having issues with on there.
Anyone having issues with WeTV (owned by Tencent) BL content? WeTV's twitter account posted 10 hours ago about their Korean BL collection. Of course side-eyeing the label of 'bromance', but besides that I can't seem to view any of these BL titles they've listed on their platform or Thai ones? The link: https://twitter.com/WeTVOfficial/status/1434473134221004801?s=20
I either get a blank screen or some bs error code about how they don't have the copyrights, but it seems to be everything they've listed that's BL from other countries I can't find.... Not even Lovely Writer. I can play other things there just fine.

Yeah, I think I'm going to go on a K-drama comfort journey. Even revisit old faves like Coffee Prince.

I hope things will change sooner some day.
I don't want to spoil it but you'll find out MR has always been in love with CWN since he met him.
Modern day reincarnation RanWan.

edit: update! it was an issue with my VPN
